Should I have someone fabricate the mounting hardware or?? @ngzcaz one stock alternator can not supply the power to run 30,000 watts. thats why 4 are needed and as well as 10 batteries. These are not your average alternators either
even tho it was just a mazda B2200,i had 4 15's 4 amps 6 batts two pumps all the rest of the hydro set up in my truck i really couldn't tell that much of a difference in the gas it took then when it didn't have anything in it.....

@tha1onlyjake What kicker is it, what ohms are the voice coils, what ohms do you plan to wire em too and then fine a matching amp. Subs are always best for mono block class D amps.. for interior speakers you want class a or b i belive becuase more dedicated to clearer highs than distorted.. anyways you want to remember a small kicker you rprobably lookint and a cvr or something which is 400rms so you do not want to run a 1500wat stable amp on it. or TOAST. remember the ohms.. its important

@tha1onlyjake Damn sounds like a plan. But those are dual 2ohm, P/P wiring=.5ohm, S/P = 2ohm, S/S= 8ohm. The amp looks like its a 1ohm minimum so .5 is out, and runnin 2ohm is 1800watts rms which tells you that each sub would be getting roughly 900watts outta the 1,200rms which isnt to bad I suppose. Hmmm guess up to you. far as the rest, your new ALT is good, make sure you have good wiring, and probably want a good sized kinetik batt.

Hi steve. My stock alternator is externally regulated and I am wanting to keep that alternator to run my 500 watt amp and all the stock car electronics. I want to put another alternator on the engine to run a separate battery that will power a 2000-2500 watt amp. I know it is possible, but how difficult will it be? Just fabricate a bracket and weld it on or is there a bracket already out there? any help is appreciated. Love your and EXO's videos, btw.

They set the price we pay it- so the only ones these types of installs hurt are the owners of these vehicles.

Actually- The ones on here commenting on his gas mileage and statiing there gas mileage stats are the real retards- Ive never read so many stupid comments(no offense).Last time I checked ANYONE doing this type of customization AND worries also about fuel economy-they make places for you, theyre called asylums. If you want economy, throw a second battery and an isolator in the mix and be happy with the limited watts. You want to get real performance write off mileage and go with extra alternators

Hi steve. My stock alternator is externally regulated and I am wanting to keep that alternator to run my 500 watt amp and all the stock car electronics. I want to put another alternator on the engine to run a separate battery that will power a 2000-2500 watt amp. I know it is possible, but how difficult will it be? Just fabricate a bracket and weld it on or is there a bracket already out there? any help is appreciated. Love your and EXO's videos, btw.

let me help out all of these guys that think they know shit about audio and cars first yes 4 600A batteries might put out more power than his alternators BUT HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES they run out of power pretty easily when you have 20,000 watts of amplifers they need to power so that is what alternators do they charge the batteries. he has 4 of them because he has 10 batteries and with 4 HO alternators he doesnt have to rev his motor at a demo. maybe this will clarifythings

But, you have to keep your engine running which eats up fuel. I don't. Do the math. (4) 600 amp batts.(deep cycle) in parallel will be 12 volts x 2400 Ah = 28,800 watts. This is already more than you've got. Snicker Snicker. Cheaper and less noisy too! Now double that. 12v x 4800 Ah = 57,600 watts!

I see why you need the extra power but under full load you will lose engine horsepower for the tradeoff gained in electricity produced. No big deal really because you don't need 400 horsepower to go 60-75 anyways. You just won't be able to pass as fast. Nice work.

hey steve i just wanted to say that if it wasnt for your videos, i would have never found an alternator for my car! turns out iraggi is the only company that makes a H.O. alternator (a decent one that is) for a chrysler sebring. thanx for the info and advice! keep it coming.
