Kyla's voice is really enticing. By the looks of it, she had a hard time hitting those high notes but she made it (yehey). however i'm just worried about the lyrics. When i heard her sing, i was like, "are they singing the same song? why is the lyrics of the song Kyla is singing quite different?". There is also one thing i think is not necessary in her performance (4:46) (but then again it's her style so that's fine). But she's really a good singer. I love "if the feeling is gone" :)
going technical, they both didn't connect that much to their audience because they had their eyes closed almost all of the times. Angeline had "sharp" as per "others who listened to this" (which i'm not sure if she really had). The way she sustained the notes is really amazing.She incorporates emotion while belting out (which is really a "plus") and also comfortable while singing this. And she sings very clear. I can even write the lyrics by just listening to her. Such a pleasure to watch.

'coz if you sing good, then you'll definitely sound good no matter what. it's not about the originality. kasi obviously magkaiba yung arrangement nung mga kanta nila. it just happened that the arrangement given to angeline is the same arrangement that was given to regine when she sang this. if kyla will sing that way using the arrangement given to angeline, it will sound a bit odd. this song fits angeline's voice better. i call this to angeline.

i like angeline when she hit high notes but she has to learn more about vocal acrobatics especially for not so high notes.
kyla is already established, i like her low and whispery voice. she made the song her own. she can also pull the high notes.

KYLA definitely! malinis ang boses. you don`t have to shout pra masabing magaling kang kumanta. and si kyla mataas ang boses na kung pakikinggan mo ng maayos walang sabit at kahit nsa mataas nang pitch kumakanta pa rin, (hindi ung sigaw nlang masabi lang na mataas ang boses) magandang pakinggan. anyway, we all have our own interpretation & understanding of what`s beautiful so this comment is made as to what I perceive. have a good day everyone. :-)

I appreciate Kyla more in the lower parts. Also her rendiiton is more emotional and heartfelt. Angeline, on the other hand, I get to appreciate her more when it comes to sustainability of high notes. Her rendition is rather powerful. For both ladies I'm a fan. No need to compare I guess cause the're both amazing...needless to say, both are Filipinos. <3
