Blacksad is unreal, and this is my favourite volume (so far!). The character art is truly out of this world. I especially love Samuel Gottfield, he's awesome.

i love blacksad, but i wish people didnt call it a furry comic. its a noir story with anthropomorphic animals. furry makes it sound to cutesy.

It has a very high budget, too, of over 90 to 100 million bucks. I hope they're faithful to the style, soul, and story of this comic. A kickass comic like this needs to translate into a kickass movie. The only question I'm wondering is, are they using 2D animation or 3D?

BLACKSAD is an awesome series. I just had to comment again on this post, you have done an excellent job of sharing this fantastic graphic novel with its fans.

We on this side of the Atlantic (USA) are still waiting with baited breath for the 3rd installment of this new classic to be translated into English. But so far there are no signs of it.

If anyone hears about a British edition of BLACKSAD I would be very appreciative if someone would let me know.

Thank you TheKarelia for posting images from BLACKSAD 3. There hasn't been an English translated edition of this book yet because of some legal matters surrounding the publisher. We are all waiting with baited breathe for the translated edition here in the states.

Well, there's no sign of such a version on Amazon. Looking up Blacksad 3, and Blacksad Red soul turns up only spanish copies.

The Publishers responsible for producing Blacksad, in the US. They went Bankrupt, and an English version of Book 3 has yet to be produced.
