This is just another dishonest piece of garbage by "Christian" gay-haters. The law has been passed, and it has not been used to silence anyone. It applies to violent acts and could only be used against speech if someone were to directly order someone to commit a violent act against another person. We already have those sort of speech laws; they're called "Inciting To Riot." You cannot stand on a corner and urge someone to burn down a building or lynch someone without being charged for it.

There hasn't been a law passed yet that was used only for what it was written. The "hate crimes" act will outlaw anyone's public sharing of even the love of God. How is that protecting everyone's 1st Amendment rights? Are there many Christians who are hateful? Yes, sadly. "Marriage" is a religious term, a covenant, and a religious act, for procreation. But to take a Biblical covenant and try to change it, is an act against your separation of "church and state."

I don't even know where to begin. Christians are scared that what? They will have to be accountable for what they say and how their sermons affect the people in their churches? Sorry, as a gay person I have trouble taking you seriously when you talk about christians being silenced and the threat of criminalizing christianity. This is what is happening to the lgbt community.
