  • Awesome. Thx

  • Thank you! I've been intimidated by charts, but your video cleared up a lot of my confusion.

  • Very good explanation.

  • Help, help... when reading the chart that has sizes with the stitch repeat in the middle, I want to make the smaller size of the Tuckernuck, Winter 2010 Interweave; its charted as one piece... where do I start and finish after the first row and second row?

  • @redlexi45 Without the chart in front of me, it seems as if you would work the stitches outside of the repeat and then work the repeat until you get to the end of the row where you have stitches outside the repeat. Your chart could be representing a pattern like this for example: p2, *k3, p3; repeat from * to last 2 stitches, p2. I hope I have helped!

  • Shouldn't you have said "if you are knitting flat, you read the chart that way." Because if you are knitting in the round you read a chart different.

  • @KnitNpink I do explain both flat and round knitting charts, but begin with the flat explanation as it seems to cause the most confusion. Happy knitting!
