Well you're entitled to your opinion. I have an 01 ram air full built ls1. I'd take the ls1 any day. Plus the 1998 to 02 body style is much better looking. I've seen an lt1 with the same mods as mine on the dyno and my ls1 made 70 more horsepower. That's fact, not opinion. LS power is where it is now days, that's why it's still in production today. Lt series 1992 to 1997, LS motors 1997 to present. Enough said.

That was a lt1 and they really don't make a whole Lot of power. I've owned a couple 5.0 mustangs. The fox bodies are light, but to really make decent power it needs to be stroked. 347 stokers make pretty good power. I've also seen a lot of people do ls conversions which make big power, and also my recommendation.

car sounds good dude. but might want to swap an intake and either swap heads or have the stock ones ported to see a much better benefit from that cam. shouldn't have any problem hanging with that lt1
