Hey guys, is there any way to get Trode/Leopold/Empyrea w/o ar now that the wwc is over??? (and I don't mean from Solitaire's assistants since you need those said monsters first anyway) And if not, can you cross-breed between this game and the sequel to get those event monsters? Cuz apparently you can synthesize those monsters in the sequel.

@otacus85 nope they're not, at least i think so because it seems the wifi function is disabled. this is probably because dqm 2 is released in a few weeks/ months in us (and probably other non japanese parts of the world) but believe me they're not worth it, they're guest so not usable online and they totally dont look so cool

to me, facing NPC'ed players is not enough. because npc'ed players don't have instincts and player's strategy is far better than the npc'ed. they should make a tournament where every ds players are active that time. too bad i heard the wi-fi battle has been closed (my file also corrupted..... i hate corruption!!!)

You know what's funny? I won every round of the wi-fi matches I played. Then i decided a nice Gem Slime would be useful. I started losing all my matches all of a sudden. That Gem Slime had 999 in every stat (except for HP, of course) and THAT was the burden on my team! I swapped it out for an old monster and i actually could handle myself in the regionals! Gem Slimes appear so amazing but they really aren't all that great...

Great Dracky: found on uncharted islands (however, I don't know how to synthesis)

Metal Slime: found in Mrs Rummy island by defeating certain amount of normal Slimes through her challenge after winning the tournament Dr Snap runs

It can be very easy getting that much health. Fuse two monster with 999 health, and you will get a monster with 499 health. If you get a monster with enough health growth, you will get around 700-800 hp by the time you reach level 20. Of course, that doesn't beat trode's HP at level 20 :P

an example:

mumboh-jumboe

yu need mum boh jum and boe as grandparents

so synthesise 2 of them (doesnt matter in which order) with one of em holding a + sceptre

then sythesize the other two with one holding a - sceptre

the results (a + and a - monster) need to be sythesized and voila!

(mum+boh)+(jum+boe)=mumboh-jum­boe

to get strong w/out using cheats: finish the game, learn whistle, and go to the final dungeon on infern isle. liquid metal slimes and metal king slimes appear quite frequently. they're worth 10 to 20 thousand exp a piece for a 3 monster team. or buy metal tickets in the sewers for 10k each and go to the metal menagerie on palaish isle. have fun

if by those you mean metal king slimes, the only way to scout them is to have monsters with 850 attack or more, more is better. you will still only get about 3%. the way i get them is by buying a metal ticket and saving before going into the metal menagerie. if you don't get the metal king slime just turn it off, reload, and try again. it can still take over an hour

Psh, you guys aren't making use of Synthesizing properly. I slaughter Demon-At-Arms over easy.

All you need is a healer w/ Heal-All and Healer skills. Learn up to Zing on Healer, and then waste it all on Heal-All until you get Omniheal, then go back to Healer till you learn Zing. The Incarnus needs to Learn oomph from WlfSpde.

The third monster needs to be a heavy hitter.

Trust me, use the Incarnus.

i never managed to get good enough monsters for online =[ i always ended up having problems getting a metal kaiser slime cos every monster synth guide I've looked at said how to do it and it didn't give me the option to synthesize one after i done everything =[

but i think i might make a new team from scratch and build every monster up to about lvl 20-30 before every synthesis xD i think it's going to take a while to finish

You can't scout him, you can synthesize him, its: (orgodemir+darkonium slime)+ (captain crow+ rhaptorne II) (if you need help with syntesizing... I have them all :p)

Actually trode's Stat limits are kind of Bad for a rank X and they don't grow very quickly either so he is just kind of a filler monster or as poopisreallyyummy says its the Yoda of slimes
