  • so does lucic follow the code he gonna get whats coming 2 him also? dj king gonna fix lucic

  • toe2toe4life is 100% correct here. Mirasty did his job as an enforcer to a tee! Deveaux needs to pay the price and be held accountable for his actions on the ice. Mirasty gave him plenty of chances in this game to fight straight up but Deveaux was a coward. "The code" has grown to a mile long list and has gotten blown out of proportion. There is a time and place for "the code" and times "the code" needs to be thrown out the window. This was one of those instances. Great job Nasty!

  • Absolutely correct.

  • mirasty is punching a downed player... I just lost ALOT of respect for him.......fuckin dirtball move.

  • Comment removed

  • 2 wrongs dont make a right.....sure...deveaux may be a scumbag.....but hitting a guy who is down is never acceptable.......its part of the "code" in hockey.

  • That is what enforcing is. You cheap shot one of the better players you are gonna pay. The code isn't always the way to go. you have to make exceptions.

  • listen... I am 40 years old....you are 27 right?? chances are pretty slim that you are going to tell ME what "enforcing" is.... I been watching hockey since the kings wore purple and gold.... you were not even born yet... am I right??? basically?? anyway...agree to disagree...and thanks for the discussion.

  • I don't care how old you are! Keep watching hockey. Your whole 13 more years on me gives you so much more knowledge than me? That's your opinion and this is mine. Thanks for the discussion.

  • why do you constantly go on about how long youve watched hockey? you think watching hockey means jackshit to the guys who know what goes on on the ice? youve never played the game or been in a hockey fight, or been on the bench when the guys are out there doing there job. but you think you do know because you watch it as a spectator? shorty is right, the code has been completely blown out of proportion by fans like you who have never played the game, telling nasty mirasty how to do his job, pfft

  • and you know I never played the game how??? while you are at it...tell me some food I never ate, clothes I never wore and jobs I never tried..... get my point..... u aint no fuckin nostradomus thats I can assure you.....and I refuse to talk to people that say pfft......that is the gayest trendiest thing ever next to oversized sunglasses...... .. goodbye.

  • you have no idea what youre talking about because you consistently ramble on about the code and how you think you know hockey because you watch it. you never played, if you did you never made it past rec/beer leagues

  • so i have to be a player of a certain level to have an educated opinion on the issue??,,,, it does not count that I have read books by guys that were playing pro hockey when you were just a gleam in your daddys list filled eyes.??

  • lmao you read a book and you think you know the mentality on the ice? my daddys list filled eyes? haha nice attempt at the same beak you use every time. you dont know the mentality, or the code. btw thought you said you were leaving? watching hockey and reading books and being forty doesnt amount to anything. youve never been a tilt, or played with guys like this. and you consistently whine about the code and so forth like youve been there and done that. fuck off like you said you were gunna

  • on another note, youre calling out guys for being keyboard warriors is good. at least you have some respect for the guys rather then talk about them like pieces of meat like most fans

  • u gotta get the last word just like the little boy you are.....son.... u aint never gonna win this one.

  • dont ever talk like you think you know the code or anything about tilts. you never played where you had to worry about that at all. read your books and watch your TV

  • so books written by ex nhl players with YEARS of experience are not valid??? .. cmon... now you are just bein foolish....... u have alot of growing up to do young-un.

  • i find it hilarious you think you know the code from reading a book not actually being on the ice and fighting. this originally started with you complaining over mirasty nailing him when hes on the ice, then you whine and complain it was dirty and that you lost al respect for him. when if you knew anything youd know EVERY guy at some point who enforces has nailed a guy when he was down. yet you make a huge deal out of it, letting me clearly know you have no clue what youre talking about

  • and mirasty was getting revenge on deveaux for a cheapshot earlier in the game and deveaux wouldnt go so nasty jumped him. anyways, im sure those books you read make your whole viewpoint on the code much more credible then my actual playing experience and mirastys 400+ career fights and counting.....

  • @ProbertFan21 ....yeah and your couple years of playing experience are more valid then guys who have played 10-20 years and written books?? your logic gets dimmer by the minute. hahahahhahahaha!!!

  • so you sit on your couch and read a book and you know more about fighting in hockey then someone who has actually had to go out and do it? i respect the guys who write the books, theyre accomplished. but to think you know anything more then someone who has done it firsthand because you read a book is fucking retarded. until youve done it no amount of reading will ever give you any credibility

  • @ProbertFan21 ..so let me get this straight.....if I quote from a book.... verbatim.... what I am saying has no credibility???.. interesting....and I dont need to play hockey(although I have) to render an opinion on a video page...... actually your experience which is likely very minor league... hardly relates or can be assumed to duplicate the experience in the NHL....... so dont speak as if you are an authority on the league.

  • ive heard stories from war veterans, watched documentaries, read books, and studied it and done presentations on world wars in school, does that mean i should spout on about it on the internet like ive been there and done that when i havent?

  • what did you quote from a book? that hitting a guy when hes down is against the code? we all fucking know that, every fighter at some point has done that more then once. it happens quite frequently. yet you freak out about it and make a big fucking deal over it. remember when probert headbutted bob magill? probert was the most respected enforcer of all time. he even pulled cheapshots, every guy has. mirasty jumped deveaux for a cheapshot earlier in the game. deveaux wouldnt go, problem solved

  • anyways, end rant.....go fuck yourself

  • every guy starts out in juniors, bob probert wasnt bob probert always. do you know what its like to be at your first camp ever, shaking everywhere, pissing every 10 minutes knowing the fighter from the team the year before who led the league in fights is coming and you have to fight him that night, after already fighting earlier that day. all to impress a bunch of old men in suits in a press box? youre gunna shit on MY playing experience because im 18? what have you done? read a fucking book?

  • LMAO!!! u condemn the books.... but what you just typed souinds EXACTLY like something I read from Marty Mcsorley??? mebbe you have heard of him? LOL U r 2 much... fuck myself??? and here I thought we were having a reasonable debate./... son.... b4 i fuck myself... Im gonna fuck your asshole raw...and there aint nothing u could do to stop it.

  • he only popped him a couple a times...not like Dave Brown on Jim Kyte back in the day.

I still think this Mirasty guy should be thrown out of the league and sent back to UFC where he belongs though
