Okay Kaila, here's my problem with your covers. I know and love all these Sufjan songs. Then you do a cover and I fall in love with your voice on his songs and the way you do them...the simplicity, with just piano or guitar.

So then it ruins my Sufjan albums...lol.

If you go to Songmeanings . net and look up sufjan stevens. it shows some insight as to the meaning of the song.. It doesn't come to a consensus but was very interesting to read a number of peoples interpretations.

to me there is no doubt that Sufjan is the best songwriter of our generation. Is there anyone that comes close to his level?

Yeah, I read a couple of the suggestions, they were interesting. And I love the way Sufjan writes, it's sort of simple yet has a lot of meaning. All of his songs tell a story, which I love.
