  • well this is freaky..im there..so are my friends...including a shot of my then wife susie who has since passed away

  • I think this was from 1988. Party at Caveman Records, Geelong.

  • Hey Dickhead, we were not a cover band, they might of ended up that way but when I played in the band we'd do 2-3 covers a night. Tops!! Because we loved the songs and wore our influences on our sleeves. Listen to the original Bored! records. This gig was a special cover only gig with invited singers to get up with us and do their favorite songs. enuff said

  • Hey, is that you, John? Long time, no see, mate! I agree with what you're saying, you may have done slightly more covers than some bands, but that didn't make you a "cover band" You (and us!) just fucking loved good rock'n'roll songs, even if someone else did them first, and you did them so bloody well. Take care, Colin

  • hey simonschole, when bored did over the edge my pants nearly melted off, it is still the best version of that song i have ever heard, but bored just did really good cover songs, feed the dog , are you kidding me, that is not great song writing, thats just ripping off the mc5 kick out the jams and throwing a bend into the riff and then going for the natural and obligitary chord progressino to fill out the song, bored were at their best when they did covers, those guys rocked for sure, lil suzie

  • these guys really did rock but at best they were just a cover band, a really good cover band, really really good, they locked in intensity, warped and god did rock with songs of their own tho, bored just wasnt punk, it just wasnt

  • you dont know what your talking about. they were not a cover band at all. get your facts straight, do some research, feed the dog. theres a clue for you.

  • This was recorded in the Caveman Records store, which was in a basement in Malop Street, Geelong, right next to the legendary Metro Cafe. I was released as the cassette "Get off my wah-wah and suck this!" I used to have the whole video, but I lost when I moved to Tasmania two years ago :(

If you're wondering, I'm the guy in the denim jacket.

  • on their night they were the best live band goining around

  • hahaha have a look at buzz!!!
