I feel that films like this and for example avatar seem to forget that humanity is a part of nature too. Great artwork, but didn't like the message much. Cities don't cause the destruction of woodlands nearly as much as sprawl: People insisting on living in suburban subdivisions called "the woodlands." Anyway, the whole thing is pretty nihilistic. Guy's got the best intentions I'm sure, but this hackneyed critique of modernity was created on a computer, by and for rich urban westerners. I wish I could rate the animation separately.

Kind of like a Country Mouse / City Mouse theme. The guy felt peaceful and relaxed, a breath of fresh air once he changed his scene around him to a natural setting.
