I read the "Killing Joke" comic the other day. It made The Joker seem more like a ordinary man, who had a bad day. Really sad story. I'd even call it fancy literature, which is kinda wierd.

No, it's true and it's a sad story. The Joker was a relatively normal guy once, he had a wife and a baby on the way. Then, he decided he wanted to fufil his dream of being a comedian so he quit his job. Only, no one liked the Joker as a comedian, so he made no money. To support his family, he worked with the mob, but when he tried to back out they killed his wife and unborn child. That destroyed him beyond any kind of mental repair. I know this because I read the original comics.

That is true, but ONLY if your talking about the cartoon and movies. The cartoon never went into detail about the Joker. And the movies didn't really go into detail either, Tim Burton created his own story line. HOWEVER, in the original comics the Joker's real backstory is given. It took some hunting for me to find it, but I'm positive that my previous post covered his past pretty well. I have way too much free time on my hands, I look stuff like this up.

the cartoon went more in Tim Burtons direction by saying Joker was already a criminal before his toxic swim. whereas in the comics hes just some guy who happens to be in the victim of circumstance

Yes, there are some similarities, but the cartoon follows the comic much more closely than it does Tim Burton's movie. Some of the episodes are more or less exactly the same as they were in the comics. Tim Burton's storyline was way off in more ways than one. The only thing the cartoon left out was the joker's backstory, and they did that because the creators thought it would be too upsetting for kids to watch.

According to "The Killing Joke" comic, it said his wife Jeannie died of an electrical malfunction, killing her and the baby. Unless, this is just the revamped story...

But, really, Joker's had a tough life, he may laugh it off, but the way he got there is quite horrible. But, it happens in every day life. People come and go.

Joker Killed Batmans parents in the Tim Burton version of Batman, however in the animated series they where killed by a common thug with a gun.
