  • thank you for cutting off the video before all the clapping started!

  • @raeofsunshine7814 Im an alto to and I love this song

  • I was an Alto singing this, and it is truly and amazing song!!

  • MLC chorale is singing this on Europe Tour, and I'm a bass, so I absolutely love this song! :)

  • bullis choir will take all of you on!

  • Amen.

  • Beautiful song mostly well done

the choir drifted slightly flat especially before the brass entrance.

also, intonation in the brass is questionable and in the first brass entrance that note in the trumpet was played as a triplet as opposed to what is written, a sixteenth note

    overall good job though

  • brava to all of you who sang that high c at the end! I'm a low alto, so that's physically impossible for me. We're singing this song for our Christmas concert, I am way excited.

    Also, altos and tenors forever.

  • Singing 2nd bass was so much fun on this song. I wish someone would post some more vids from this choral fest and from the last 2 cuz I sang at those too.

  • By the way tenors rocked the hardest.

  • Oh wow, this was easily the best choral experience of my life, right here. I get chills down my spine listening to it now, but there... never thought I'd be shivering that hard while surrounded by 300 people.

  • ya tenors pretty much rock haha...

  • LIES!!! Sopranos do : D

  • HA! you wish.... :P

  • I don't wish I know!

    lol

  • haha i was there! singing! i know better! lol

  • well I just sang it a few weeks ago...so I think it is fresh in my mind...and yep Sopranos rock so much harder than tenors! : P

  • rofl

im a choir singer as well, and Tenors are great, but this song could never be as beautiful as it is now if just the Tenors sang. =] You'll need everyones help.

  • *high five*

  • This is sooooo great <3 I wish the teners could sing like that at my school hahahaha gosh I wish this was on i tunes

  • This was the best song at choral fest, I had chills every time we sang it! Choral fest in AZ is gonna be awesome

  • I know tenors were the best : )

    TENOR 1 especially!

  • dude i loved that song!

tenors rocked that song like none other!

  • Has there been any other videos of the choir songs? can't wait till arizona i think, and sopranos suck basses rule!

  • HAHA i got part of the camera for like 10 seconds. .. TENERS ARE WHERE IT IS AT! lol. RMLHS all the way! This song was so much fun, but we sang it better for the rehearsal the day before lol

  • dude i know a bunch of people who sang at this! awesome song!!

  • we r preforming this in about two weeks so ill post a video response with it hopefully.

  • I was there, and I was swelling with tears. It's a beautiful piece.

On an unrelated note, there's too much foul language in these comments. It really offends me how such words have infiltrated our casual conversation.

  • I agree with the language comment.

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! I was sick of listening to the IYC do this FAR too fast and just a mediocre job........... Oh and that tenor complaining about a high A??? Gimme a break, Go sing the golden dream, the tenors Go up to a high B, your not a true tenor if you complain about an A, that notes in the Messiah(Hallelujah Chorus) And in How Lovely Is Thy Dwelking Place By Braums AND Battle Of Jericho by Moses Hogan AND in many other pieces but those are just the songs ive done

  • I was there, and the balance was better live. I think it's just the camera's fault.

  • actually the last note is a high G about middle C for tenors. but there is a high A above middle C in there too. and yeah, i know what you mean. lol

  • Very nice, I love this song. I wish I could find it on itunes

  • my church choir just sang this last week, i love this song so much!!!

  • Is that John Pasbrig directing?

  • i think so. lol

  • actually it was Paul Adickes ...

  • oh sorry.

  • Amazing!

  • That is so beautiful, it gave me tears!!!

  • i was going to sing in the choir but got into a car accident the night before

little bit of a disappointment, there

still came to see it though

and they did fine without me...heheh.

  • wow can you say goosebumps? I'm glad I was there for this concert but sad that I was in college and couldn't be in it again this year

  • WOW ... i loved this song sooooooo much!!! ... whoever put the concert order together was stupid because this should have been the finale ....

  • agreed!

  • Yep I agree too!!
