  • I salut you, ignorants of MMA and japanese martial arts along with even hard style kung fu users for ur ignorance has no limit, tai chi is like raising an army of gods in secrecy

  • and the best thing in it, it has moves that only ppl with true perception and skill along with intelegence understands and makes only the worthy able to use in perfection and effectiveness

  • best demo on earth, tai chi is the one with the universe since it's birth

  • looks effective

  • The person demonstrating with Master Lee is my master Gong Chau. I learned the Lee Modified style from Master Gong in 1979 at Western District Park. There was also a German Student, Thomas that learned together with me. It's wonderful to see the video after all these years. Does anyone no where Master Gong is now? There were a lot of many student learning from the park then...great memories...Barry Hong from Vancouver

  • Waaah', jie ge' si hen hao le'! It is GREAT to see this! McLisa Co. was our 'ONLY' out-let for 'real' kung-fu movies back in the 60s' & 70s'! Thanks for posting this! Duo xie ni'

  • Lee Yingarn performs the "Nutcracker" :)

  • 很寶貴的資料,謝謝分享!

  • you idiot it's for demonstrating to the viewer. not a ufc title match. lol

  • sure buddy, gee i wonder why those straight blast gym videos are so slow and dumb looking. why would they try to show me a technique at that speed it obviously won't work. You don't have much experience in teaching a martial art, that much is clear from your comments. lol

  • I grew up being the only viet in a black hood, if it werent for N.shaolin i would have been dead by now, got jumped n fought bigger guys all the time, I didnt always win but i wasnt losing either. The techniques in the form are just to show the "possiblitys" and principles of the techniques, once that is mastered the form becomes formless but the prinicples remain the same, in dat way ur defense becomes automatic n free without a set pattern, some what like boxing. thinkin is to slow, just react!

  • wow your a fool just because you cant remember what technique to use and when doesnt mean it wont work it just means you cant understand the concept of "training" this guy studied this probably for a long time its not like he just started doing slo-mo demonstrations that day

  • wuteva styles when they show u a counter dey do it slow NO SHIT its a demostration...and yes in a real fight you'll never remember much and there will be no time to think when u get sucker punched thats why in every style u work on self defense, two man drills, forms sparring or whateva to turn your "techniques" into a reaction, do it long enough it becomes muscle memory. so when there attacked instead of flinching they trained there reaction into a technique. im sure every1 here agrees with me.

  • Lots of strikes against the other guys junk. Its not pretty, but ball-kicks/strikes never are ^_^

  • Great martial art, is amazing tai chi

  • 5:40 Here is another move in wing chun, you'll find it in the dummy form!

  • griffonwc, don't pretend like an expert, this is nothing coin-incidental to WC.

  • I just said that we can see this move also in WC in the dummy form....didn't say WC was the sole owner of that technique! It's like kotegeshi, it can be found in many styles also!

    (Aikido, jiu-jitsu, silat)

God no, i've got much to learn to become an expert.

  • thx for response, try compare with the ChoyLeeFut dummy !!!!!nice to meet you !!

  • hgearangler, i compared to WC dummy form because i know it. Do you know of any clip where i can see a CLF dummy form?

    Nice meeting you too!

  • 2:59 is amazing

  • "2:59 is amazing"

That move is used a lot in wing chun.

  • Wow, they knew what they were doing back in the days! You don't see this kinda stuff too often nowadays though.

  • no you don't. as a fighter you must be able to adapt these techniques to what you are doing. Gung fu is not dead it has to be adapted to the cage and people will see that it works. it will take someone with a lot of skill but it can be done

  • I feel sorry for the old guy getting beaten (LOL).

  • I think I know why Kongfu declined today now.

See where he attacks!Surely these could only applied in real fight!

  • i have this music, but a little diferent. any tip on how to search for it?

  • It is impossibe to think what kind of action to attack or defence before the opponent attack. If disagreed with this, this means having no experience on real fighting. Only playing beautiful posts.

  • 何という!李英昂老師!!初めて見た!

  • lots of simple moves cleverly applied-looks like alot of these moves would be applyable to counter todays modern day attacks

  • Nice stuff!

  • Hes got quite a few crotch grabbing moves..

  • Monkey steals peach..LoL

  • 我覺得佢個樣有幾分似馬英九

  • Thank goodness some applied Tai Chi Chuan for a change

  • Agreed.

This is exactly what tai-chi looks like when applied for real. One can see how various tai-chi principles manifested in Lee's moves. Brilliant.

If anything his shoulders are a bit raised and stiff, not dropped and relaxed. I believe this is influenced by his Shaolin background.

  • great!! This is what Taichi looks like when actually used. Thanks

  • Wuwei108 I think that you should show a little respect.Master Lee done his,What have you done,Do your research before you judge, Master Sheng

  • Master Lee was a martial art fanatic, he learned quite a few types of Chinese martial arts and was a prolific writer

  • I feel that Master Lee has real skill and achieved high levels of Kung Fu much better than the clip which is just basic staff

  • très très bon, bonne vision martale du tai chi, merci pour la vidéo.

  • what a shame-guys with names like wuwei don't recognize real skill

  • Great!Both are valuable video.Thank you, DPGDPG.

  • AHH I am glad i found this thanks once again DPGDPG, i have the book, whc=ich saved my but as a kid cause I used the leg manuvver of kick the guy to the groin and he did go down....his form loooks like an offshoot of yang maybe a wu style???

    nice

    muchimi

  • i disagree w wuwei108, this is very rich, it is too much for simple self defence :)

  • Man that sucks. What a poor represtation of tai chi.

  • WUWEI108 should be ashamed of the disrespectful and irresponsible comment. Obviously, WUWEI108 has no knowledge on Tai Chi. Master Li is the master of Tai Chi and commands the highest respect. Shame on WUWEI108.

THANK YOU DPGDPG for the valuable video!!!
