you shall search for a n64 emulator and roms, you can run n64 games on your computer with it. You can also film your TV, but the quality is low, compared to record it from your PC

These Tool-Assisted runs are basiaclly frame by frame execution of recorded input, such as "A 99>" So the player first can enter the input by playing the game under modified conditions, making it possible to enter the "perfect" input. Then, the emulator that recorded the input can play it back
