Hi Rob , Im Hanging for your next vid , check out the vid by this guy its1 rod in 11 styles cool as aye the rod is by kellysnz couldnt paste the link ?
Good going Rob, i thought too about the chance of the bench sagging in the middle, but im sure you'll not just cover it, but cover it ina clever assed way too..lol... nice one buddy..Del..
One thought I had and don't know if you had shown a center sliding rail that doesn't lock...Maybe that could keep your setup from sagging in the center over time. Thank you for all the great video's!!!
@clinmo - The width between the two rails "on-center" bolt to bolt is only 27" inches with 6-1/4" inches of it floating off each end.. It would take a 400+ pound guy jumping around in the middle to bend anything.. But that is indeed a good idea... I could add a little extra on the back that bent down to make it a sort of angle-iron brace..
@clinmo - After seeing the overlapping layers in CAD there's only 3/4" inches between the two.. Maybe enough for a few hidden toggle-switches but that's about IT.. :^P
