I agree that each company need to create its own unique leadership brand and having an outside-in strategy like customer value make sense. We don't expect to find same type of leaders at Wal-Mart and Lexus! The definition of leadership fundamentals in this video doesn't seem to be complete. For a more complete view I would recommend the people to look at Six Domains of Leadership concept from Professor Allan Lind and Sim Sitkin from Duke University. This is the best model I have ever studied.

Great ideas,...but boring presentation! I agree with the ideas, but just simplicifies 'em!

For religous reason, toothbrush made from the cow's tail might sell enourmously in India with 1.16 billion population. You don't need any high technology or leadership to creat those toothbrush. The Tata Nano is one of the examples on how Tata's company adapt to the demand of the people of India. Knowing what the people might want is as important as what the people need.
