I personally loved the game. I am not sure why it gets "so much" hate now, I recently re-played and it felt as nice as ever. If the game would had came out a few months ago, I would still love it. The story, the style, the enemies. I was 13 or something when this came out, and I was really scared, so sacred I loved it. One of my favorites.
@SpartanLaser I think at the time it got a lot of praise. As someone that played it much later I don't think it's style was enough to keep it worthwhile over time.

@ebbderelict yes he did, but he was a *Bit* more restrained on that one...being that *Restrained* means that he was tied with an anchor and throwen overborde, but the ocean was to normal so he was rejected from it...make sense yet?
@ebbderelict Then you sir obviously need to be in a straight jacket. SUDA should also be in a straight jacket, but that too is to normal and thus, can not be worn by SUDA.

@ebbderelict i remember when i bought this game. I played it for a bit then the first monsters showed up. i fucking cowered, shivered, screamed. I took the game out of my ps2 and sold it to EB games. i was 10 when that happened. Fucking terrifying.

Ah Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture. I'd very much like to find the PAL version of Michigan: Report from Hell on Playstation 2, it rather curiously got a English localisation in Europe through 505 Gamestreet's budget line of games. I believe it is stupidly rare now too.
I said on Gamespot that I plan on picking Killer 7 up for Gamecube. I may try it out on Playstation 2 beforehand although.

I love the game, so much. It's a great game, sure it has some faults, but the story, characters, atmosphere, soundtrack and style make up for it.
