J'ai vu cet opéra à Caen, c'est ce qui m'a donné l''envie d'écouter du baroque, d'en chanter, et de l'étudier! Bravo!! C'est magnifique! Des perfomances vocales impressionnantesn des costumes splendides et une mise en scène spectaculaire! Quand à la danse, c'est une vie supplémentaire offerte à cette oeuvre monumentale de Lully!! Bravo!!

I had the pleasure to see this opera in Luxembourg, a masterpiece of JF Lully, in old French, not easy to understand sometimes lol. It is to be noted that the costumes and decorates have been reproduced according to the original technics. Furthermore the plural is emphasised (they pronounce the "ssss" at the end of the words) just like they did at the time. The last magical touch are the candles on the scene, delivering a fragrant warm an orange light
