Well he wasn't on drugs when he wrote Something I Can Never Have or Hurt. He didn't start using drugs until after TDS. And he was a coke head. He did heroin once and ODed, never to do it again.

NIN had such an impact on me, when i go down the sidewalk to get the mail, (im a girl btw) i have my steeltoe black workboots and an NIN shirt and black jeans, with my long blck hair...Ever since i could remember (literally XD) ive loved NIN. my 6 year old sister, 5 year old brother, and baby sister all pass out to NIN as if it were a lulliby. XD

I know Finick was with GNR from 97-99 and then came back to tour with NIN in 99, but I thought he was absent from the majority of recording.
