@meric2 Coke??? are you fucking retarded? he might of done coke, but his first love was HEROIN....You stupid bastard.... coke? you think coke is why he wrote Hurt? or Something I can never have? Do the world a favor and try Heroin.......
Well he wasn't on drugs when he wrote Something I Can Never Have or Hurt. He didn't start using drugs until after TDS. And he was a coke head. He did heroin once and ODed, never to do it again.
Here's a quote from Reznor, after he went through rehab "I wouldn't buy a gun, but I could see where the drinking and the cocaine could lead. You get to a point where you just don't care"
@meric2 Ok go read WIkipedia under Trent Reznor. Sub section drug abuse.... Here let me copy and paste this part for you....During the five years following the release of The Downward Spiral (1994), Reznor struggled with depression, social anxiety disorder, and the death of his grandmother, who raised him. During this period of intense grief, Reznor began abusing alcohol and other drugs. He eventually became addicted to alcohol and heroin....dumb fuck..
Well I got my 12 year old nephew hooked on Trent Reznor and Maynard James Keenan. Am I a bad influence? Debateable. Does he now have great taste in music? NOT DEBATEABLE.

Albums like this make me miss the good old days. Even though music is more accessible to purchase and create than ever, the dilution of quality is getting ridiculous.
