Thanks man, I can't remember the exact settings and I don't my POD with me. I know it was based around the 'Modern High Gain' amp model with a 4x12 cab. I should be easy enough to dial in a similar sound. Hope that helps
im thinking of this being my second a brand guitar i already got one with a floyd so this would be awesome to do more of the ac/dc things or a les paul for more kiss rhings
Matt, your playing is fantastic as usual. A couple of requests, I would love it if you would post your settings when you use the POD. I have one too and it'd be great to know what amp model/effects you are using. (Like you did in your more extensive earlier overview) Also, it would great if you listed what scales you are using as you've done in the past. I find it very, very helpful when practicing my own stuff to see what others are doing with the same modes and so on. Keep up the great work!
The setting on my POD was basically British high gain with a touch of delay, nothing special really. As for scales, I mainly used the penntatonic/Dorian scale for the I chord and Mixolydian licks on the IV chord. Thanks for the interest man!
Hey, how do you like your pocket pod? I have been thinking about adding some sort of modelling device to give me a large amount of diversity of tones and effects to play around with. I am pretty happy with my base sound, but there are days I want to try some metal riffs or mess with some delay without having to buy a bunch of new gear.
Really tasty playing -- I totally dig it!

Hope you'll give me a hint how to get such a great guitar player...
I'm not a metalhead but I like fast licks if they fit into the context!
You can make it look so easy!
I still haven't got the same speed and amazing licks as you...
Tips&Tricks always welcome!

Great Impro Matt. How do you record the video so that you can listen to the backing track as you record?
Caldmason 2 years ago
I plug my mp3 player into the POD's mp3/cd mini jack input., that way I can hear the backing track through my headphones. Cheers.
