  • Nice video. Inspired by you, I bought a turboforce 3000 series grinder just now so I don't have to make a mess by cutting the meat and bone by hand.

  • Hi there. Great video. Could you please tell me what grinder you use?

    Thanks

  • Hippo is absolutely adorable

  • Great video! Kind of makes me want to go buy my own grinder instead of manually cutting up everything.

  • @Fr3edom89

If the meat was 'pre-cooked' to kill of all bacteria then there would be absolutely no need to cook it in the first place, let alone wash your hands after touching it, cleaning surfaces off after they had come in contact, etc. Obviously I am not the one failing to think before commenting. Unless you have some crazy ass futuristic meat down there in the good ol' U.S of A, your debate fails to make sense to me. Anyways, I'm done now. Enjoy your strange food.

This wasn't meant to be an argument. I work in a grocery store, in a meat department, where I see first hand all the meat that comes in to us . While it may not be ORGANIC, it is certainly RAW. If it is not cooked - it is raw. It's a very simple concept.

  • @Fr3edom89

She stuck blatantly raw beef liver and raw chicken breasts through a grinder - at what point did it looked processed or cooked?

  • no garlic?

  • you really don't have anything beter to do! just throw it in his bowl and he'll be just fine! no grinder no cutter neccasary.

  • u could have fed a lot of hungry kids with that

  • So no veggies needed for the raw diet?

  • @dre3w26 you can if you want to (with a minimal amount), but my dogs hate them, and in the wild wolves will just throw the intestines out of the carcass anyhow. Some people feed their dogs green tripe in substitute of vegetables (for extra mineral/vitamins), some dogs like it some don't. If your dog likes veggies, there's no harm in feeding them, go for it.

  • my shihtzu eats 70% raw meat and 30% produce and she is alot stronger and coat is a lot softer. She has a video on youtube check her out she loves Raw

  • is this cheaper than buying dog food?

  • Is this a more expensive method than just feeding kibble?

  • sorry i don't know if i asked what grinder u used, but can u give me the name and model and is it good for grinding bones?

  • thank you so much, this means a lot to me...God bless you! :)

  • plzzz plzz make more videos..i've been trying to make my 14lb shih tzu raw food just like this.but there arent any good vids..my dog is allergic to chicken n beeff : ?

  • @Shushit55 You can try fish and lamb if your dog is allergic to chicken and beef. Some dogs are allergic to just chicken (like my pit bull), while others are allergic to poultry. My pitty can eat turkey just fine. Turkeys are usually cheap this time of the year as well. Just keep the same ratio. 10-15% bone, 10% organ, and 75-80% muscle meat, and it's a pretty complete diet. Many Halal butchers (middle eastern) sell lamb organs and scrap meat for cheap.

  • @keysofluvher1 Sorry, the last comment was ment for you @.@

  • @dexamethasone yes i meant to say poultry...i tried giving him turkey for the thanksgiving..he's itching like crazy..i know this probably sounds stupid but would be able to tell me how many lbs of what instead of percentages..i suck at math...i really appreciate the advice..and what brand of grinder do you use? i heard its bad to put heavy bones down the machine. is that true?

  • @keysofluvher1 Then I would stick with lamb and fish. If you get whole trout at a fish market, then you don't have to worry about ratios so much because you are feeding whole prey which is complete. If you'd like to mix serf and terf, then let's make a 10 lb batch, you will need:

    7.5-8 lbs muscle meat

1-1.5 lbs bone (they can have meat on them)

1 lbs of organ meat (0.5 lbs of that is liver, the other 0.5 is pancreas or kidney)

  • @keysofluvher1 Please please check this vid out. Will help you a ton on RFing your dog. There's part 1 and part two. Here's part one! /watch?v=stZCSUJa4EU&feature=related

  • @apdgforever thank you so much :)

  • @fenoit76 thanks :)

  • Absolutely wonderful! My favorite line out of the whole thing was, "If you love your dogs you'll do what it takes." I say that all the time to my clients. LOL. Great video and loved seeing your dogs.
