  • THIS IS SO DEPRESSING BUT SO TRUE. You should vote so we dont elect another retard such as President Bush

  • haha you're right.

  • holy id kick her ass , i seriously would, well no but i no i woulda bitched her right out. did yu say antyhing bak? and im so gunna make a video response hehe

  • I just smiled and laughed. I knew that she wasn't beinga good educator.

  • i agree the system is jacked up but i still think you should vote. I think the electoral college needs to go but Im not sure you not voting would change any of that. If you want to support your cause i would protest and be loud however you can for it. But there are so many people that are Just "lazy" and dont vote that you will get lumped in with them and what you have to say wont be heard. I would just start voting third party that to me sends a bigger message

  • maybe your right

  • I agree with you - one person, one vote but without voting - how can you hope to change the present system? Politics = money & money = political franchise.

    Vote for the planet

  • if the united states has another president that rapes our planet I will literally cry. Our economy needs to shift from fossil fuels to sustainable energy... solar and wind power. We will fall behind if we do not develop new technologies of energy. It's environmentally and economically benefitial.

  • i agree with you about the electoral college, it is a stupid system and makes absolutely no sense. but, the popular vote influences what the electoral college votes for and they could get voted off or in trouble for not going with the choice of the people. not voting to send a statement makes the wrong statement. it makes the government think that we are lazy. so, vote for change if you hate the system so much, i know i will.

  • I think you're the only one to disagree with me that made sense. Defending myself though, maybe for change to take place things have to be bigger than just voting. Voting is an action, but sometimes that's not enough. It seems like once someone gets into office they do whatever they want becasue they're pretty much safe for four years. Something needs to be put into place so that canidates practice what they preach.

  • i think you are exactly right

  • i usually don't leave negative comments but here it goes...

if you dont vote you shouldn't live in America

  • I want to know WHY I should vote. Honestly, help me understand, I really want to. Why is my reasoning flawed? Why is voting in America different from anywhere else? Why shouldn't I excercise my right to choose not to vote?

  • I can't vote yet but I probably won't. I don't get politics in Canada and never will. I don't like your teacher! Your not lazy :P. My emo fish said "Hi! =)"

    I TOTAL agree with you!

  • hello emo fish =).

  • He said "I like your videos mann!"

I think he likes you. (God Im a retard!)

  • So, I aim to vote but have had issues in doing so. lol I do believe if every person votes we wouldn't have so much crap in the White House but our options are not that strong. I'm Democrat and we have the black guy and the woman, neither will get the nomination, so then what. Why bother? It's very hard when all your choices suck ass. Great question to throw out babes.

  • Thanks Jenni. I decided today that I've lost respect for my teacher. She handled the situation very poorly.

  • yeah she did, she had no business asking that.

  • ok, so it's like this. I voted once, for Clinton. The next time I thought because I had voted 4yrs prior that I was still registered so I just went to the polling place and DUH was not registered.

  • I agree that the Electoral College is outmoded and needs to be changed, but the only way we can do this is work within the system. If you vote, you have more leverage to petition your representative to get things done. As to your teacher asking about a personal matter that was really none of her business, and then calling you a name when your response didn't match what SHE wanted, that's indefensible! If it didn't have a direct effect on your grade, her dean might be interested in her methods.

  • I'm really upset that she handled the situation the way she did. She said she was running off very little sleep. I don't know if I'd go through the dean with it becasue I want to be understanding and chalk it up to "a bad day". She said later in the class that I was "spiteful" becasue I wasn't participating and that we could talk about it later.

  • I did not vote as soon as I reached the age to do so. In fact I did not vote Until voting could actually benefit me in someway personally... a few years later. The first time I voted, I voted for a reason (because of a policy I wanted to see implemented) That reason became a reality and I was glad that I had contributed.

  • Things you do not agree with will always be evident in ANY government so my advice would be vote if you feel something will benefit you or the way you think as an individual. If you don't want to vote, stand your ground. You have that right to choose :)

  • thanks =) this is very helpful

  • will make a video response but seen as there's apparently no text comments I wanted to be the first lol!

  • haha congratsulations =)
