Oh my goodness!! I could kiss you!!! Mwah!! My one complaint about the iPhone was that I couldn't set my own music as a ringtone!! I still wish I could do it through my music library as you can with most other phones, but this is incredible!! THANK YOU!! X

I had the same problem and when i moved the ringtone from my desktop over to itunes,just by clicking and dragging it over to "library" it highlighted where the library is and then created a folder called tones. I'm thinking because it was my first synced ringtone that's why there was no ringtone folder. I hope this is helpful!

If you just drag the ringtone from (Itunes library) ringtones to (iphone) ringtones - like you can do with songs - then it won't delete all your songs, movies etc.

hello mate, how do you get more than 2 tunes actually on the iPhone. i downloaded 7 cropped songs correctly and it shows in the "ringtones documents" in the "apps" but only stores 2 on the iPhone?? 1 in "custom" , and another in the "purchased" ?? am i doing something wrong ? lol cheers
