@FatalCorruptionzz961 start w/ becoming flexable and moving around targets quickly and becomeing very agile, agility makes it alot easyer to avoid attacks. then start with kicks or jabs. the more relaxed your body is (and what your body temp. is (warmer is better)) the better you will be at moveing around things, and if you are calm during a fight you will make smart kicks/jabs and not try to hit wherever you can land a hit. good luck :)
I'm a small guy about 5ft 2in. I'm usually faster and stronger than some kids bigger than me, but I would like to learn martial arts to defend myself from the more tactical people in my freshman year highschool. The problem is, I don't know how to start or where to begin. Hopefully future viewers will see this and reply. Please and thank you.
part of me thinks this is far too complicated to work in real life, too much technique and in the heat of battle couldnt work...but then again someone adept like this guy would use something simple and this is just a way of training? Any thoughts on this by anyone who does this? Do ninjitsu students work on simple strikes and evasion skills, or always these long flowing techniques??Thinking taking it up but not sure
@splinterfist A common misconception with traditional Chinese and Japanese martial arts is that there is far too much technique. However, when in actual training you drill and train the basics over and over. As you become capable with the basics you start to learn the more complicated techniques, not just to increase your ability and coordination but to have more options to use in battle. People often overlook that these methods are still around because they are efficient and were once feared.
The first technique used in the ground fighting part should be used in the UFC, why it's not, is just because, UFC is a sport, and must stick to certain moves. Small joint manipulation and other things are not allowed. The stuff shown here is more practical, Ninjutsu or not. Majority of what is shown in the UFC, is unpractical on the street. There is a difference between sport and combat my friends.
and what makes difference between samurai class JuJitsu and unarmed combat method of NinJutsu or NinJutsu taijutsu? Why you can say that they are not the same thing?
Ninjutsu cannot be categorized as just hand-to-hand combat. It is the combination of several skills that a Shinobi(ninja) would posses. While it was essential for a shinobi to learn some form of martial art in order to survive, it was not considered ninjutsu. This video is not wrong, it just does not fully describe what the art is.
@MiniNinja9001 Your Right. I can upload the other videos for Ninjutsu too, running, climbing, Stealth, Magic. etc. I have more, but it takes a long time to upload those videos. there like movies. I'll eventually get around to uploading them.
Are there the occasional injuries sustained during training? What's your view of this? Thank's for the video, fascinating, and im thinking of joining up to a local Bujinkan Taijutsu. Is this 'style' much to what you teach?
@PICLex There is always the possibility for injury during training. That's why in the beginning you should train slowly and learn control during sparring sessions. When you spar and practice techniques, you should move slowly, like cartoon slow, but practical. This will help develop muscle memory, that way the moves come naturally to you and then you gradually work on speed. But don't force the speed. But work on flow and be relaxed always.
@UserIsAnFBIAgent Thank you very much good sir, i will use this mostly for self defense, have a good day and thank you again for this amazing explanations!

@splinterfist Long story short, I say take it up. The key is how you train. Best of luck in your studies!
