Or if your trying to be a nolife and think you have to beat it on the hardest mode, or you just feel like trying to kill her on hardest mode then might want to jump on rock with over 1000 arrows, and a good spell for enemys. Or just change at her if your a high lvl with good armor, rings and necklace, and sword and spells. or if on pc just type kill and she dropps right away. but bring up console command first.

K all idiots this armor is for all consoles, ps3, xbox 360, pc and i think others. Its not secret its a quest for a demon lord, if you choose to give him the sword he gives you a helmet fit for a good, if you choose to keep the sword, you piss him off, but who cares. Now this umbra character is easy and hard, put the diffucalty to very easy, and jump on 1 of those huge rocks and shoot her with spells and arrows, or just beat the hell out of her.

She is a Lvl 50 elf and can kill you easily on easy, mediem, piece of cake on hard.... so you need to be at least lvl 2 to do this.... lvl 2 on oblivion is like lvl 30 on any other game...

BTW her armor (Umbra's Ebony Armor) is actually not as good as REAL ebony armor.

At levels 15 or below it is weaker than ebony, but at 16+ it is just as good as usual ebony.

Umbra also has a soulsteal sword and heres an easy tip to kill her: Get a claymore +rangedweapon/spell Then jump on bench and jump on pillar Hit her with the ranged weapon/spell then she run at u into the pillar *note: she cant attack you* then use ur claymore and slice her to shreds!!!! :) EASY!!

imbra is also a quest item, if you go to the shrine of clavicus vile or something you can give it to him for the masque of clavicus vile, but i rekon the sword is better so ye :D also, you can choose not to give it to the statue, then the umbra will weigh 45 :P
