About how high (in feet) would you say these jumps range from?

Btw, love the paint horse. Normally, Paint horses are my least favorite when it comes to coats, but this Paint is so unique and beautiful too. I absolutely adore the tail. That's definitely a type horse I wouldn't mind owning myself.

Also, I'm still a beginner in horseback riding, but what's the oldest age would you say that these cross country horses usually range from??

Ha..you can hear the rider say, hey near the beginning when her horse is galloping really fast. Looks like a great pair though for the most part.

i've nvr seen a paint do cross country!!! very pretty. all i do is show jump so i wuldnt no, but i usually just see solid colors(besides grey). but that horse is really pretty and the rider is awsome!

I just love this pair! They are amazing and rode that course well!!! Pix really attacked it!!! Guess you can say she really loves cross country and there's no doubt about that one!! Amazing ride! =)

Please understand that this was almost 2 years ago! She and Pixie have made tons of progress since then. Pixie can be very opinionated and strong-she isnt an easy horse to ride but Caroline is an awesome rider and does a fantastic job with her and her other horses!

if you let a horse get away cross country you are screwed, you have to keep them together so that you have them prepared for the next jump

you guys have no idea how incredible this pair is and it takes alot to ride cross country then you add Pixie in at becomes 3 times harder (no offense Pix, she is an amazing horse)

I rode and showed Dumplin(aka Pixxy)for several years before Caroline purchased her from Cathe in Alabama.One thing is for sure, she has more power and jump than any other horse I've ever been on.She will focus in on a jump and attack it and if you are the least bit out of position you better be prepared to bite the dust because she will clear the jump by three feet.Caroline has done wonders with her and I'm so glad that she is showing her full potential!FYI.She used to go by Homemade Dumplings.

Caroline is a terrific rider and trainer. This is not an easy mare and Caroline has done an incredible job with her. She is not getting left over the fences, that's how you need to ride these fences.

I agree with drecgurls123, she needs to be a bit more allowing witht he hand to allow the horse to stretch the head and neck a little more, i can see the point of keeping the contact, but not when it makes the horse toss its head by the end.

you do realize that Caroline is an Advanced level rider who has been short listed for the Pan Am Games before, right? I've ridden with her and watched Pix go a few times and she shakes because she wants to GO not because Caroline is hanging in her mouth. This mare is insane cross country (in a good way) and is head strong. She's done a wonderful job with her.

She is an excellent rider who knows how to ride her horse and still have control if she acts up she has an excellent leg and her horse has a powerful jump the horse is round and collected over the fences and does well.

Have you ridden the horse? This mare is a very powerful mare w/a powerful jump. I can't stand people who critize other riders without knowing the horse or have even ridden it. Caroline is an incredible & capable rider. It takes all to stay on her. I'd like to see you try and stay with this mare. Also Pixxy can be strong & doesn't always listen. Caroline doesn't yank like I have seen other riders (olympians included). So until you have ridden the horse-keep your comments more positive!

I'd have to agree, she was quite a head strong mare- which can be helpful in eventing, but tricky over the higher fences so props to the rider! She did get left behind a tad, but you gotta get it done first before working on the nitty gritty : )

This mare is beautiful! You dont often see paints or pinto colored horses competeing this high in eventing. I love how the rider talks to her a lot. Like saying Good girl" and "hey hey" when she isnt listening lol.
