He used garageband to do some of the songs and also used Green Day and music runescape. He used his own voice for all the parts (except for the chanting "Jonas, Jonas" part).
Me and my friend made a video just like this for a school project using legos and i swear i didn't steal the idea for it. im going to post it soon, but its 12 minutes and im trying to shorten it.
It took my son probably at least 5 hours of filming, but probably longer. He did this in summer of 2006, so I don't recall exactly. Perhaps he will do another one this summer. :-)
I never thought of The giver as being a book that 8 or 10 year olds would read and comprehend but I think that's because practically everthing that people have done has not benifeted us at all and most have hurt us. I wouldn't know how to explain that further.
amazing book. i read it over n over still, my friends n i, n i'm 20! lol... they need steven spielberg to make a movie... like he did with schindler's list... the black n white, n adding of color... yay! i think they're making one this year!
Your young but I started the same way. Keep the faith little one. animation is way too cool. Never stop .... even if you never make any money out of it. ... :-)
It took many hours to film using a digital camera and to produce the video using iMovie. My son did all the work except for some voiceovers from his older brother. He also used garageband and took a few recordings off the internet.
pff lol that was stupid funnay X) but that was a good book XD
