An excellent and spectacular opening ceremony!Very well done but the momemt of truth is the fact the U.S. led boycott greatly diminished these games.After the parade of nations was completed the infield area was sparse and too much political overtones in reference to the boycott-i.e. marching nations walking in stadium without their national flags.Regretably these games should have never been used to make a political point!
