As hard as it is collecting my obscure band records, I would think a band like Zeppelin would be much worse! Every website everywhere has their stuff & I couldn't imagine trying to track down just one release...

You got that right my friend. Collecting Zeppelin is as difficult as finding pearls in oysters. Years ago it was a blast but now all the rich people buy them off Ebay just to say that "they own it". I would suggest to anyone collecting vinyl nowadays to "start with a band that were not that popular". You can have fun like that because you may find a lot of rarities. But for collectors of popular 70's bands, you have to spend a ton of money to get anything good. Thanks for writing

Beware of new vinyl re-issues, some cutting houses uses digital conversions in the spacing process, which makes the album like a CD printed on vinyl = mojo gone. Spread the awareness of it, I think it is a fraudulent practice because that info isn´t stated on the product.

@Casar1973 - I know what you mean, manufacturers do seem to be cutting corners. For instance, I bought a new 2009 re-issue of Hendrix's electric Ladyland. I had to bring it back, the pressing was terrible! visible 'craters' in the vinyl which of course affected the play. The guy had two other copies of it, both had the same problem.
