This Ridley guy isn't an activist about speeding tickets, he looks like a closet case c.sucker doesn't he. He isn't a hollywood actor so how do you think his lips got so fat. The way he talks at the start end of videos is the way people talk to kids
in ORLANDO they will not let you in court with any video or audio systems,,,,they will not let you know but through my self of nosing around you can go to the clerk of court's and get the tape and audio that they made of you in court ,,they have to give it to you but they will never tell you that you can get it,,you have to know what you are doing,,the "system" is a joke full of hole's and if you can find them you can beat them !!
The moron attempting to gain entrance with his camera says he is trying to exercise his rights under the "2nd amendment"...And this is one of Dave's Students? Dave, teach your "students" that the 2nd amendment pertains to the right to Keep and bear arms, and has nothing whatsoever with bringing a camera into the courtroom.... Once again, Dave and his "minions" continue to do the Free Staters movement more harm then good....what a shame....
@robbybmt you have no clue on what you are talking about,,,lol,,this is not about his 2nd amendment its about FREE AMERICA and how we are being told how to wipe your ass !!
Firstly,I'm not from the U.S....I'm from the U.K.. Now,I've seen quite a few of these videos and there seems to be a common thread. What the hell is wrong with these people (police and judges) ?? They don't want you to have what they do on record,so they start breaking their own rules ?? Brilliant move, well done ! And to start with the theats too, that's unforgiveable. So...they won't let him into court to answer his own case ??....fine,let them be ignored then ! Total morons. Unbelieveable !
This is ridiculous, I understand that he has rights, but the way he goes about handling himself is extremely unwarranted. "Do you intend to hurt me?" He is egging them on and trying to make them commit to a statement in anger, similarly to the way he claimed the judge was attempting to represent him. He is handling himself like a nut job and separating authority figures from their humanity. They are people as well, and arguably, not emotionless robots.
Because they know the truth . The truth is that in America curently you are inocent untill proven guilty and video cameras take the inocence away imediatly and make the presumption out of the amendment so if you are innocent that that is what you are on video and if your are breaking the law well then the presumption is disreguarded. Enraging them. Because they know full well what all the video cameras on lights at intersections are for and what dash cam in their cars are for. to get proof.
No criminal wants to be videotaped. The cop was under orders from a judge" Since when is a judge a police captain? This violates the separation of powers rule. In fact, this is outright Judicial Tyranny. This shows we're living in a Totalitarian Police State, which is completely opposite of American laws, and principles.
Isn't it obvious that the police are already chipped? Or they are a completely different (non-human) species. These men doing business as corporate police agents act as though they have no conscience or very arrogant as that ol' boy does. The cops know they work for a foreign corporation. Their oaths mean nothing to them. People need to learn how to seize their bonds and force them into involuntary bankruptcy. Maybe then, after the Sheriff evicts them from their home they will understand.
Government trials are a farce. The plaintiff is the government, and so is the court. The prosecutor works for the government, and so does the judge. With such inherent conflicts of interest, a fair trial is impossible.
You got it, why aren't more people doing this? OK, I just got a ticket for going intbetween cars on a mototcycle when the traffice was a stand still and not moving, just needed to get accross the street and a stupid officer on foot saw me and waved me over. I was NOT hurting a thing or a soul. So I think I will take a camera to court. Thank you. I will expect nothing less then what I saw here!
WTF is wrong with these cops man. Why do they keep on asking you to not take the camera in. Is it because they have something to hide? Why would he want to hide being a good police officer?
It wasn't the officer's descision, it was a judge's order he was enforcing.
It could make sense in a criminal trial to ban cameras where there would be evidence such as grisly crime scene photographs, photographs of victim being nude, etc. But I don't see why it would be a big problem in a traffic court.
The officers were quite frankly being lazy and trying to make less work for themselves by intimadating and threatening the guy. And deservedily, came off as being douchebags.
What gets to me is the unprofessional behavior of the officers. The first officer started out alright by telling him that cameras were not allowed in the courthouse by order of the judge.
When the guy starts beligering the officer with 'by what authority' questions, he should have calmly reiterated the judge's order and told him he can go into the court without the camera or leave the premises.
If he does neither, the officer should have arrested him so he could have his day in court.
"asking questions isn't disturbing the peace, dummy."
Asking questions isn't, causing a scene (or disturbance) is. There was douchebaggery by both parties. He eventually put the camera down, went to court, pled guilty and paid his fine.
He should lodge a complaint against the unprofessional behavior of the officer's involved. So in the future, this video can be used as a what not to do training aid.
He didn't plead guilty. I he just went in and paid his fine without filing out their paper work. ANd he only did it because they brought in a Jury for his trial and he didn't want to be the reason that hundreds of people were forced into Jury duty against his will. He should lodge a complaint? Who would he complain to? Another corrupt judge? The officers' supervisor? Right, like they would be on his side.
I always thought cameras were specifically disallowed from most courtrooms unless the judge OKs them.
Perhaps the only reason I would want cameras disallowed would be if I though the courtroom would be made into a hollywood scene and jurors or witnesses would turn it into theater.
The 2nd Amendment of the Texas Const: "All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit. The faith of the people of Texas stands pledged to the preservation of a republican form of government, and, subject to this limitation only, they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient."
FYI, in NH, the legislature has the authority to remove individual judges and even to dissolve and reconstitute the entire State court system (that's why the legislature is called the "General Court") -- they have done so several times in the history of the state.

You can't film in the courtroom dude! The police's reaction is ridiculous. It is definitely legal to film people- including police in a public place.

I'm so glad that the police are protecting our courtrooms from being recorded by the defendant in said trial.
If the camera got in there people might be able to see what their tax dollars are spent on and we wouldn't want that.
Less oversight = more freedom, isn't it obvious?

arrest him on what grounds? that makes zero sense.

only if a member of the general public makes a complaint, simian. i.e. disturbing the peace.
case closed.

"case closed."
Incorrect.
If an officer witnesses a crime, no complaint by the general public is needed.
