I don't get why they can't morph. Maybe not Tommy since his power coin shouldn't exist yet, but the other five should be fine. I mean, their ancestors morphed no problem when Kimberly went back in time. Do the power coins have a "you must be this tall to morph" sticker on the back?

hmmm it's funny, every ranger team from MMPR to In Space had one goal, to protect the world and eventually the universe from the forces of evil yet it wasn't until In Space that it was revealed that killing Zordon was the key all along. Guess our "noble" mentor was being passive for 10,000 years and was just pimping teenagers to fight evil so he could stay alive when finally, when the sh*t hit the fan, he realized that he could hide behind them no longer. thanks astronema for kidnapping zordon

After the Power Rangers in Space finale, I lost touch with the whole series cause Lost Galaxy and whatever came afterwards had no ties to the original series besides teens morphing. All the villians were killed or freed from their "evil spell", Zordon died, alpha disappeared and the original rangers bounced as well. lol It became cookie cutter after 98-99 to me.

@mark89474 You're def right. It got watered down after the original's left. Plus MM Power Rangers action clips are all based on the Japanese series "Zyu Rangers"....check it out if u haven't, its pretty interesting to compare. Can't find em on dvd in the U.S but there's plenty rotating online.

If you know your sentai facts, you should remember that Japan actually airs a JAPANESE dub of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, in addition to the original versions of the series. They even get back the original actors to reprise their respective American counterparts.

To Japan, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is hilarious in the same way we find abridged series funny. It comes off to them as a parody of the original.
