  • Dude I've been wondering about this song a long time. It's on the album 'Voodoo Chile Platinum'.

But it's not his style lol. Just as the songs; she's so fine, night life, goodbye bessie mae, psycho, suspicious, groove maker, wipe the sweat, gonna take a lot. They're all on this album, although it doesnt sound Hendrix-like. Look them up, so you can hear...

  • i heard it a fey years ago on the first hendrix album i got when i was 8

  • :D

Well, I still bought it on iTunes as "Jimi Hendrix "Gangster of Love"....and this was my point with posting it – nobody would look at it twice if it was posted as a Jimmy Norman joint!

But hey, if you're disgusted I'll tweak the headline!

  • Cool, this is one that I've never heard until now. It's hard to get all the "fakes" unless you really try. Question: if Jimi had lived would any of these fakes such as this one have been released as Hendrix songs?

  • Not on any specific album...included on one of them "compilations" serving up "unreleased" material. Check the iTunes link!

  • @Lafay1 You know that this is not Jimi Hendrix so why do you foolishly still have his name in the title? It's wrong and disgusting to perpetuate misinformation about who recorded this and not give due credit to the artist in the actual title.

  • what album was that
