  • It sucks that no man will ever visit the Pillars of Creation. :(

  • Are these colors the actual color of the Nebula or is the color enhanced?

  • 2:15 No way! I wish I had to funds to afford me a good telescope to explore the night sky.

  • Right now its night time on Planet Earth on the other side. Real World Universe isn't life where I'm at right now listening to Rock Music on a Cloudy Day. There is Light on one side and Pitch Black on the Other. That's how we should approach life.

  • Bad ass. Love it!

  • we can't possibly see this from a telescope on earth can we? Specially not one i can stick outta my balcony or something...RIGHT?! :O

  • Hey are using 30d 40d

  • Dude write down your equitment.

  • You seem to be using a Cannon 40 or 50 D. Has it been converted for astro photography? You also seem to be shooting raw files. Do you find an advantage over shooting fits. files?

  • What a cool soothing and calming narration. I felt I was there. Awesome scope !! Can I find some of your images on Flickr ??

  • You got to be kidding, you took that photo with your telescope and camera?!?!?!? that is fucking amazing. the wonders of modern technology.

    Great Video

  • An inspiration indeed.

  • great pic any chance you can get back to me lol

  • how did you get your pic onto your laptop im gunna by some equipment to start taking photos

    please respond asap peace

  • Love your videos

  • im the god of the eagle nebula

  • i love that celestron 1100.i have a ten inch meade rcx400(now acf400).just wondering if that was a canon camera and what type(rebel xt,xsi,d40 etc...)?thanks.

  • Canon D40 I believe.

  • I love how your doing the universe! Iv never looked into space with a telescope before. Hopefully one day I'll get that chance.

  • Beautiful. Truly. Thank you for sharing :)

  • Thanks for the vid, the Eagle Nebula really is impressive. It's only a real adventure when you leave behind the comforts of home, so sleeping in the car ought to do it! Good luck in Europe!

  • Wow, that's VERY impressive. Did you take a dark frame / flat frame to get the contrast so high, or is the CCD just that good?

  • Damn, Tf00t. Investing in a S.U.V might be a smart idea.

  • Awesome! Would love to know what kind of camera/telescope you used if you don't mind sharing.

  • Anyone wanting to know about the 'scope, have a look at the Jupiter vid on this channel. It goes into detail about the telescope, which is a rather good 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain type. I assume the camera is the one which features in many of the BITU vids - dunno what sort, but a good digital SLR. It's easy to mount a camera on a telescope.

  • Marvellous! Simply but elegant :-D And Thanks a lot for helping me understand, that my apartment isn't in a very bad shape :-)

  • I really hope santa gets me one of those cameras. Id be fine if you just gave me yours tho

  • Please make some vids on Europe, like you did for the Rockies and that. Pleeaaassseee.

  • I second that...

    Pleeaaassseeee!!!

  • Thanks TF.

  • beautyinthecaek

  • how do you sleep in your car? for how long?

  • Great! Tf00t's back to using his beautyintheuniverse channel! Thanks for sharing your observations, man.

  • Thank you so much for sharing, much love.

  • I would like to make love to your telescope....if that is ok

  • That's AWESOME!

  • The only place I could truly study astronomy is on a seclusive camping trip - like the time my brother, some of his friends, and I went camping in Washington State in 1991.

  • That is a Nice telescope

  • I hope you continue making videos wihle your in Europe

  • Nice to see that you are still posting videos on this channel. I cannot wait until your next expedition. Maybe you can make videos like this while you are in Europe.

I heard that a super nova whipped out the pillars of creation.

  • This is by far one of the best channels on youtube. Amazing.

You should have put a link to the actual photo in your video description though.. I'd love to see how that came out. I'm amazed that you were able to avoid star trails from the rotation of the earth. I get bad trailing just from 30 second exposure on my crappy little camera.

  • his telescope has tracking abilities...the scope moves as the earth moves to avoid star trails.

  • Nice. I know you're busy with plenty of other projects, but any chance you could post a quick run-down of what kit you use, and techniques for taking such pics?

  • the eagle nebula photographed by an ammator.nice ;)

I have tried with my creation proffesor (i'm at a teological highschool ant a atheist ofcourse)to look at jupiter and that stupd fuck failed...

  • Your professor really couldn't find Jupiter?

  • actually the telescope must have some tipe of callibration. and that must take place during the day not night. sorry for such a bad english...he is stupid anyway. he thinks taht the earth has 6000yrs =))

  • you rule, great vids

  • AWESOME! I was hoping for more vids from this channel!

  • nice exploring

  • Nice work TF. Glad you're a fellow Celestron user!

  • You should splice the image you took of it into the video

  • what camera and telescope are you using?

I see the 2 min. exp. but what is your F-stop. Do you shoot in bulb mode and do you post your pics on Flickr?

  • That looks like bliss.

  • behold the beauty of the universe

  • Awesome.

If you don't mind my asking, how much was the setup you used to get those shots?

  • Ooh wow. I have just developed an interest in photography. Awesome stuff, as usual. Looks like you have the same attitude to tidiness as myself :D

  • Very very cool :)

glad to see you're getting the rest of your footage up

  • praha woohoo!

great beer, food, very hot women, lots of sights to see. cerveny drak,,,,nostravi!

  • I am truly envious of your trip. Wanna let me tag along next time??
