Yes he doesn't mean to be fake, he means not to be an open book... It keeps them intrigue and curious to figure you out, you ever met a man or woman that you're very attracted to but can't put your finger on why a.d your trying to figure them out because your not so sure why the attraction is there? Personally, I despise mixed signals - it just comes off as ambivalent and flakey; insecure or untrustworthy. Women like to be flattered, even if they don't admit it, they do. They also like to be shamelessly pursued. I cannot think of a single woman I know or have known that has ever enjoyed mixed signals, except for the ones who were really fucked up. Women like to feel powerful and attractive in the initial stages of attraction. I think most people are smart enough to figure this out.
