U need to fly that Av-8 like it's in a airshow. Go on YouTube a see the real AV-8 what they do. still nice flying but it no my style.

wow...this game looks PHOTOREAL. how far away can you fly? can  u actually hit those trees way back in the distance? how does it work? is it a 2d background??

you have different types of places to go this one is a photo area and yea you can hit the trees but at other places that are more computer generated you can fly in different views and do different things it just depends on what you like

It is a Photo - actually a panoramic image stitched from multiple photos - once you created the panoramic photo RF can import it as airport- you have to set the ground and place collision boxes etc, or even ad 3D objects to it.

the airports where you can switch cameras is a 3D airport.

That was the original unmodified Model in RF 4.5 - yes, I used the knob to turn the thrust and used elevator to bring it in a vertical hover.

I stumple on to this Harrier hovering thing @ a hobby shop 1yr ago. Guys watchinng saying how do you do that  lol.

@basimpsn Cool lol - it's just a question of timing, turn the knob in the same motion you pull the elevator up and stay sharp on the throttle.

You use the "Flaps" Knob I think.

Ok. Sorry. Just do it regular 3D, set at %50 (not completely sure) throttle after take-off and just hover.

ok ,then ,,,but id like to see you win ,if its the one ,contest from flyinggiants,they specify to make it real appearing as possible,i do like the graphics though but thats built into the program ,but sim flying skills are on the operator,,good luck bro

i think its cool,,but if youre in a contest ,the competition is going to be stiff,,keep this in mind also,,harriers in real life dont take off from water,and dont hover vertical ,so you may want to make something different,to get into the judging.

thanks, I know they don't take off on water and hover vertically - I did that just to show the possibilities of Real Flight - basically a Show Case to be different from the others out there - that was my plan - showing the water, which is new in G4 and the Harrier Model. - Thanks for your comment - Happy Flying!
