hey man sounds bad ass whut kind of cam/ heads do u have in it? i have a 2001 trans am am i am lookin to rebuild the motor but im not sure whut size cam to go with and this one here sounds pretty nasty

yes i do realize that. I am a tech and i live in southern california. i Have mine registered in Washington for that specific reason.

Well, as in "smog" I'm thinking they take a sniffer and put it into the exhaust to get the readings rather than just using the OBDII port (in which pre-OBDII is when we do what we call the smog test) otherwise it's just emissions test via computer.

I dont get what you are saying. what does obd1 vs obd2 have to do with smog unless it is about pollution percentages. Here in california we smog anything from 1976 to present. Washington doesnt smog and that is why i reg my cars there via po box

Oh and any cars 20 years or older do not require any emissions test, not sure how it's done out there (concidered antique) and not every county requires emissions testing either, just 5 mins up the road Bartow county doesn't require it where as Cobb county (where I am) does require it :/

@xknightmarez28x Out in Cali it's not by how old the car is technically. Only cars made from 1975 and older are exempt. All cars, even 1976 vehicles, go through smog :(
