You might have found the Golden Weddings in carnival glass--they are nice to keep-sell. They are basically the same as the clear, screw cap bottles you show here.
i found around 50 old bottles in the woods i went back there picked one up got stung by 3 wasps ran like half a mile into my house n 4 came out of my shirt
Hey thanks, I agree with Michael that helps a ton! I just stumbled onto an old dump site today back in the trees behind the location I am currently at. This is extremely helpful and I have to favorite it!
@GrizzlyGroundswell thanks for the kind comment =] can you film your dig? just the surrounding area and how the soil looks, ill be able to help you out a little more =P
Fantastic video ! Very helpful !kinda like chasing a gold vain :) this will help a bunch! Thank you ! i went back to that first dump i found and just started digging only found a few newer jars but i did score a Listerine raised letters nothing as cool as at the other site which i'll get back to next week & now thanks to you i'll know better what to look for ! you got some nice ones today man there's glass all over that place you have a nice honey hole there :)
@MichaelSwan66 Thanks! but suprisingly this isnt what im mostly looking for, the bottles i found ar epretty much common in that spot because the dump stretches another 500 feet down the river. I had found one blob top there once, my first one, and i started digging a hole last year on the opposite side of the river, I dug so deep i literally had to stand up to my belt in mud to just get bottles out, I started pulling out bottles like crazy! 1860s stuff, then some water came into the hole-
