Some sort of game set on the Titanic where you play as a passenger aboard the Titanic on her maiden voyage would be so cool. Prehaps using the GTA4 engine and you can visit any part of the ship. And the main part of the game would be to survive but you can save other people around the ship or maybe look for your loved one. It would be so cool to have something like that. Give you a real idea of how fearful it was to be on the Titanic that night.

@luigia989 you can make it sink like that by, first, hitting something in a highly popluated area, like New York, then, when Titanic is slowed less then 5 knots, put her achors and then go to shallow waters and she'll sink like she did in 1912, because her achors will pull her bow down. (it only works in version 1.3, so, don't switch to 1.4.1 if you want to sink the Titanic like in this video)

Since they put it in full reverse and hard to starboard at same time slowed the turn. Did you try to turn with full ahead? did it turn faster? I read thay could have missed it if they did why I am asking.

@arniewarnie VSTEP didn't compile enough data on the Titanic to make it break up in the game EVERYTIME it hits something. VSTEP made ALL the ships, except one, sink like the rest. It doesn't matter if Titanic broke up in 1912. The VSTEP Titanic designer NEVER knew that she broke apart when she sank and didn't make a water-tight compartment Titanic like she was before she went down. If the ships in the game has water-tight doors and a water-tight switch, the ships will sink in the right ways.

the titanic would of survived if they didnt use steel that shatters when it reaches very low temps, it was low temp when it hit the iceberg but not enough to shatter but it was weak.

it was steel. it didn't cut the side of the ship like most people think, the hull just buckled allowing the water to pour in.

it wasnt made of steel it was made of iron plates with iron rivets and a steel skelinton and when the titanic hit the iceberg the hull did buckel but that was because they iron plates were held together with faulty rivets which would break even if you hit it with a hammer

No, it took aproximately 4-5 hours for the Carpathia to arrive at the site of the sinking. Titanic sank in 2 hours 40 minutes, like ez2member said
