Great resource you have here Ben. Your metaphors are powerful and thoght provoking. Particularly, I liked your emphasis on the psychology of self marketing. Unfortunately, many self marketing 'experts' jump this element to teach the skill.

I am fond of emphasising that self marketing is first, a mindset, then a skill. If that were not so, marketing degrees will be the the most attractive, expensive and sought after universitiy course, but we know it's not so. Keep it up!

Ben my man, can I take a quote from this video for my site? I'd like toquote in text the bit about you not partucularly being any better or have more students than any other 10 teachers, but down the road you ended up with 45,000 students. what changed bit. I just think it's an extremely excellent Psycological mindset statement and if used in the right context could help alot get the bigger picture. Cheers, IC.
