Sorry budy. That's the wrong type of mic for this application. Unless your heart is about as loud as a singing bowl, that mic is not going to work. You may need something to "cup" the microphone to compress air against its diaphram for higher amplitude.
great video, thanx for making and uploading it .i have some advicse for you that may help you to get a betterheartbeat recording. the microphone you are using has a windshield on it.. the black ball. that black ball has 2 parts... usual u can screw the top of the windshield off ... so that the microphone part gets free and you can put that straight onyour heart.. please give it a try. thanks again... keep on going.. i like it a lot

if you unscrew the mesh part from that microphone you will get better sound of your heart by putting the mic right against your chest
