  • VIDEO GAME LEVEL: ASIAN

    ^^

  • ive been practising to be a drumist for weeks but i still cant master it!! what a DRAG

  • This is a bot doing this there is know way someone in real life do this. So i give this a thumb down it sucks because it a bot.

  • my drum skin not like that, how do u change the skin?where do u download the game and song?thanks

  • for me i thnk drum mania is better than rockband. cuz im addicted to japanese songs :)))))))

  • @JuliuStorm

you can make it dark to see better

  • man i have troubles doing the bass, i suck at it.

  • this is a cheat, he has 4 hands while i only have two!

  • Where can I download the songs from this game??

  • miss this game so much, used to play all the time in HK, rockband sucks ass, guitarfreaks/drummania... is this DTX mania? i have that and im thinking of plugging in a usb drum set to play it lol

  • Two words: Bishounen Overload.

  • I really like this song.

  • this song kicks so much ASS!! I really wish this was an anime that would be AWESOME

    VENUS ROCKZ

  • wuts the name of the band?

  • @stewpidPhReShMusIC uum Tatsh and RayZY made this together

  • Omg I can barely see the notes

  • awesome...

  • Even though i can't understand the words and it sounds like he is saying emo quite a bit but i like the drums, guitar and bass :)

  • lol, I can barely see those notes

  • The notes are damn hard to see, and I'm not used to reading bass notes like that. (GH)

  • lol all perfect!

  • i would love to play this game!!!!!!

  • good shit, i wanna get this game

  • O____o so.....many.....notes......

  • GF/DM owns the arcades

    GH/RB owns the home consoles.

They are all awesome, and no one is better than the others. AT ALL.

(Rock Revolution is a different story though lol)

  • I swear Drummania/keybord maina/gutair freaks so owns all thse rockband loser. who think that gutair hero/rockband was the first of its kind

  • I bloody love this song, and it's so much fun to play!

  • lmao that DJ game had some of the weirdest but good songs

  • For those of you who say: "I can't see the notes" it isn't a 100% clear video capture, you can't read what the little modifier options in the top right video since they are blurry. Now if you play this, or see a 100% clarity capture and you STILL can't read the notes, then you need serious vision adjustments.

  • This game seems much harder than it is because u cant see the ficken notes. I play expert drums in Rock Band and i admit that this would definetly beat up on me, but, i mean, c'mon! the goddamn perfect words flashing everywhere obstructs yoru ability to see what is coming down the chart.

  • No it doesn't...you just aren't used to it, seeing how Rockband easily handicaps players that way.

  • wow this looks fun!

  • dude u can barley see the colors!!! and ive seen drummania in a arcade before.

  • holy shit this makes rockband look like a toddler game

  • That's exactly what I am feeling. Surprisingly, this one is one of easier songs in drummania.

  • make the chart come at you at an angle like in rock band and this game becomes 20 times easier.

  • i've never heard of drummania is it avalible in US?

  • There exist drummanias in US, not many like asian countries though. As I know, there are a couple of places that have drummania V4 in california.

  • Watz the name of the boy with black hair thatz singing?

  • the only problem i see in this game is that you cant really see the notes coming at you if you just started with the game...

other then that its an awesome game

  • You can adjust the scrolling speed of the notes. Increasing that speed improves the judgement of each note. You can get used to.

  • yea this one was hard, i cant get past the middle part of the song. i think watching it over and over might change that. thanks =)

  • What the hell is going on...

  • im good at rock band on drums but playing this would send me into a seizure for sure, i cant see shit

  • such a cool game too bad rock revolution is a fail.

  • i had high hopes for rock revolution.....

    =/

  • dude how can u see? i cant see shit. lol

  • by the way, how much does the drummania homeset costs in average?

  • dont worry.. marked as spam

  • OH THANK YOU FOR SAVING THE DAY

  • Look how retarded neomax1234 and

    SidesweptToTheLeft are arguing.

  • yeah..

  • You can go sodomize yourself with a cactus. :)

  • chill...

  • NO ITS THE INTERNET DAMN IT AHHHHHAJIBSjavjgvcAKJSBJKHAV

  • INTERNETZ ARE SERIOUS BUSINEZZ

  • Hey numbnuts, when the hell were we ever arguing? I was only being straight forward and a little blunt. Oops I'm sorry. Did I just start an argument with you? Faggot. :)

  • How can you even tell what's going on? I can't see the notes for shit.

  • The interface of this game is makes it much harder than it probably really is. Now I'm not saying that it is easy.

  • Games which have ONLY real songs like guitar hero, rock band are truly the most stupid ones, aren't they?

  • Considering that this is a Japanese game, you are a moron. I just wish GH/RB had something original and not just license repetitive songs that create repetitive charts.

  • oh shit i didnt know that was autoplay at first i was like wow how the hell does he even read the notes

  • holy shit you're good

  • Sah-weet! Though it is one of the easier songs, it was still a perfect run. 5'd.

  • Possibly the dumbest comment that I've ever read somewhere that was able to have comments on it.

  • your rock band wouldn't exist if this game didn't come out way before anyone in america had the idea.

  • You're just nothing but a fangirl. GH/RB doesn't have a single original song in it. All it has are licensed songs that create repetitive and boring charts. This game is about accuracy. That is why all GH/RB fanboys/girls suck at everything else that involves rhythm. They have no fucking timing windows.

  • what would an original song be? i dont think enter sandman, fever, rio, girls on film, foreplay, gght, byob, toxicity, tom sawyer, etc are boring or have repetitive charts - maybe you should give it a try

  • Uh yeah.. I kinda have... And so far, I've had so much more fun playing Guitar Freaks SECOND mix (1999) than I ever had with any of the Guitar Hero games.

  • Then tell me; Why did GuitarFreaks and DrumMania remain entirely japanese games and never shift over to the US, but yet Guitar Hero and Rock Band are national games?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble; I like these games, I give them props for being original and pretty hardcore. But maybe TOO hardcore; I can't see any of my friends playing these games, because Guitar Hero and Rock Band on easy still challenge some people. This game would break your fucking ankle...

Plus I /barely/ saw any notes.

  • They were actually going to bring GFDMv4 to the US. They even had test locations that went very well. However, the manufacturers, Betson, decided to be complete dickholes and just not go farther from there to actually releasing it. Doesn't matter, many arcades import these games and they grab a lot of attention. Oh, and that's what I like about these games. It challenges the crap out of you and actually improves your accuracy and timing. I can explain so much but this commment box wont let-

  • I have no problem with the game; If people want a severe challenge, they can go ahead and play that one. But the fact that the colored notes are on a background of the same exact color, it's insanely hard for even me to see the notes flying past, and I just don't like the visuals to it. I do like that it's a lot closer to a real drumset with more than just 4 pads, but it's also so much harder... I suppose if it had all sorts of music than just jRock, I'd probably be a bit less biased about it...

  • Guitar Freaks/Drummania has a HUGE variety of genres. Totaling over 500 songs in the latest installment I'm sure you'll find some stuff that you'd be interested in. And I think it'd be better if you tried the game out yourself instead of looking at how hard the notes are to read in a low quality youtube video.

  • I'll agree with that, you're probably right about that. But I know I could never do DrumMania; I would try GuitarFreaks, but I can't find any of them anywhere near here, in any arcade place. Plus from what I read about the controller only having 3 keys, that's a little disappointing, but I might just have to play it to find out... Any clue how to find where anywhere would have one, or am I just gonna have to search every arcade complex nearby? xD

  • What's disappointing about 3 fret buttons...? You do know that Guitar Freaks is 10x harder than Guitar Hero right? And you can try ddrfreak-dot-com. Just browse around the Machine Locations section. You can also get this game for the PS2 but you must import it and play it on a Japanese/modded PS2.

  • I'unno. 3 buttons doesn't seem like anything compared to 5; Especially with the high-caliber songs on Expert by the likes of Dragonforce... I'm just not intimidated by 3 buttons, that doesn't stack up to an actual guitar being like 18 frets and 6 strings... Even 5 buttons doesn't stack up to that, but it's closer than 3 buttons.

But thanks for the site. I'll check it out, and play it to see for myself how good it is. x]

  • There is something called a timing window. Guitar Freaks has a much tighter timing window than Guitar Hero's hit or miss system. It takes much more accuracy to hit the notes. TTFAF is nothing compared to the 99s that Guitar Freaks offers. I'm sorry but you're being completely ignorant about this whole thing. It's people like you that make Guitar Freaks players laugh. You criticize the game's difficulty because of the number of fret buttons.

  • Guitar Freaks doesn't have hammer ons or pull offs. It doesn't have a silly star power feature that helps you even more. The game CHALLENGES you. It tests your accuracy and not your button mashing skills. The game uses keysounds in real time so you can actually hear yourself go offsync. Harmonix and Neversoft have made their games far too easy compared to Bemani's. Even Pop'n Music is a beast compared to them. Guitar Hero is child's play.

  • To the first comment: I'm not being ignorant, nor did I ever criticize the game. I agreed and said I might have to play it to find out, and it's probably harder than it appears to be. How in the world is that criticizing the game? It's not. Also, GH2 did have a much more strict timing window than GH3 did, but that still may be more than GF's timing.

To the second; I never use Star Power, so that doesn't affect me. Hammer-ons are moderately realistic to a real guitar.

    -continued-

  • -continued from last comment-

Also, I've played several of Bemani's games, and I'll admit they were good. Before Guitar Hero, I was always a fan of DDR, because it was about accuracy and rhythm. Though it was moderately easy for /me/ to get perfects, and AAA's in that game, it could be harder on their other games. Also, keysounds to go offsync? They have that in Guitar Hero.

I'm not at all bashing Guitar Freaks. I'm saying, I've never played it, so I don't know what it's aim is.

    -continued-

  • "Also, keysounds to go offsync? They have that in Guitar Hero."

Offsync != muting the guitar track. No matter how off you are the guitar in the game will still sound perfectly on sync. Which DDR have you been playing by the way? Home version or arcade? The home versions have a much bigger timing window than the arcades in case you didn't know. And I'm pretty sure that, from my experience, Guitar Freaks has a tighter timing window than DDR. I'm sure as hell that BeatMania IIDX does.

  • Both. I prefer arcade over home though because the metal works so much better than the terrible pads you get for home versions. And I said, the other games probably are harder.

I'm not criticizing GuitarFreaks. I'm saying, I like Guitar Hero and Rock Band because I'm used to that style of game, and enjoy it. I may like GuitarFreaks, and I may not; I don't know until I try it. But it /appears/ easy, and that's just judging it visually. The game is probably a lot harder than it looks, I'm sure.

  • Judging a book by its cover? Tisk tisk...

  • haha i know this comment is what 6 months old? but GF/DM has came out in the 90s jus lettin ya know

  • This is one of easire songs from this game.

  • Wow how can you see that?! o.o

  • I can't even see the chart...

  • wow thats so impossible to read! i could never do that....

  • very very good :O

  • seems cool, but I could never pass that lol

  • 1:04 - 1:11 sounds amazing!

  • This game has awesome music. Why is it that Asian music is better than a lot of American music? Well, that's my opinion anyway.

  • An opinion can't suck. Everyone thinks differently, meaning not everyone thinks like you do.

  • So I'm a close minded retard for actually listening to different types of music rather than refusing to listen to any music that isn't in English?

  • no not close minded.. it's good to listen to different songs that peak your attention

  • And you're a complete moron. That's my opinion.

  • I agree with Nova. I love the music on this game! And yeah, that's why I'll never play rockband, haha. The music sucks. xD Asian music ish better.

  • i know a 13 year old white girl that plays both with no problems...The Japanese are just presented with harder stuff while over here we have lower expectations...if it's the other way around...you know what i mean, we'll be called crazy Americans when it comes to stuff like this and hell i do know some >__>

  • I would never be able to play this. I can barely see the notes. I'll just stick to Rock Band.

  • its not like all the songs are for asians...and theres difficulties

  • i love how a white person will never be able to play this, they lack rhythm and hand-eye cordination

  • Oh so that's why I know 'white' people who play IIDX and Drummania so easily.

  • it's not like Asians are born with it xD but true...a person that played only Rockband will not be able to even play casual songs like this without some practice...and all it takes is some practice to turn that white person into an asian >__>

  • this is so crazy.

  • :O.....That looks impossible

  • thats what we all said when we saw Max300 on DDR for the first time >__> after practice some of us laugh at it...though...Funky Sonic World on Drummania is just pure pain D:

  • who is the singer?

  • the singer is Reiji Sakurai , the same person who sings ''Desert Rain'' (:

  • アッー!

  • Speaks English four mee

  • tis true

  • That was really cool... Shit man, your vid just inspired me to practice this song even more ^^

  • Oh... I didn't see the autoplay comment there XD

  • all of my chocolates are being eaten by a monkey ( and im talking about my brother)...and i dont know whats the connection of my comment to this video?...

  • Well almost every other GF/DM song in DDR is from the really old mixes (we JUST got FIRE?!) which don't exactly have bg videos worthy of being a DDR vid.

  • Neat that this is on Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 (Arcade). Actually the 1st GF/DM song that ACTUALLY KEPT it's original video (meaning the video on the right side made it over to DDR, so you can watch it while dancing)
