However: If we do nothing to absorb the excess housing the market will continue to plummet and life savings will be wiped out. What Paulson asked for was clearly ridiculous. What they managed to hammer out is better. It we sit on this property and bring it back into circulation gradually, it is possible that we could profit, and we should.
