Muse play many RATM riffs after certain songs... Maggie's Farm after Map of the Problematique and Microphone Fiend after New Born are two notable examples.

Tom Morello is one of Matt's biggest inspirations, so he's just paying homage.

I want to make it big someday, and Matt is my biggest inspiration... so I'm going to slam a couple of Muse riffs here and there as a tribute :D
