A JW came to my door, and i asked them about the 144,000 and who is saved and who is not. He said like a murderer would not be, but yte a good person would be, he didn't say good, but I forget the word he used. I thought as a Christian that sort of messes with lots of theology. So I asked him and the woman "What about Paul, he killed tons of christians, but yet undoubted to be saved by God given his Damascus experience. Is Paul not one of the 144,000?" He looked confused, wanted a meeting.. no..
The Septuagint appears to contain the reference in Hebrews 1:6, "Let all the angels of God worship Him." speaking of "His Son" in Hebrews, but speaking of Yahveh in Deu 32:43
"Jubilate, O heavens, together with Him, AND WORSHIP HIM, ALL THE MESSENGERS OF ELOHIM! Jubilate, O nations, with His people! For the blood of His servants shall He avenge, vengeance to His foes shall He return, and a propitiatory shelter shall He make for the ground of His people." Deu 32:43 CLV
Why would Paul use the phrase that was applied to God Almighty and reference it to Jesus? This is not a new argument as you suggest. The answer involves an appreciation of hebrew agency. (i dont do research for YT comments) The bible says Moses lead Israel out of egypt. Elsewhere the bible also says Jehovah alone lead israel out of egypt. (this is agency) To apply your logic consistently, Moses is Jehovah.

Yes, pithy enough.

Yes, sometimes pith is just a way to get stuff out before one loses his train of thought.
