I think reviving Jiraiya wouldn't work because Jiraiya relays heavily in his summons. Not to say he doesn't have pretty badass jutsu of his own but we all know that he needs his toads to fight. Now, if he were to be revived, he could summon all of the toads he wanted, but they wouldn't be controled by Kabuto, so they would turn against him and he would be quickly defeated. He is awesome, but the three major toads, plus the shinobi against him would pwn him!
i think this wont be the final arc, because i think that Kabuto will escape and in some way revive orochimaru, then there will be a timeskip until naruto is old enough to be hokage then he will defeat orochimaru and become hokage; The end!

I don`t think this will be the last arc (or maybe I just hope it won`t) Even if we find out the remaining 3 paths,Kabuto and Madara die, Sasuke comes back/dies, and the war ends, I can`t see Kishi ending with out at least a wrap up arc (like an epilog)
Also, Naruto said he would die with Sasuke, Sakura saw Chio use the reanimation jutsu twice, and I don`t think she`d be able to bear losing both of them.
@MnMaggii I actually think what will happen is the war will pretty much be finished with Kabuto and Madara and Sasuke forced to fight on the front lines. I believe Madara will take the time to train Sasuke how to use his new eternal mangekyo. Sasuke will fight Naruto after that other ninja will tag team Kabuto kill him and after a fight and realizing he's still weak madara will flee to absorb the tailed beasts chakra.
yes, its a huge war but i don't think they'll be able to put the deaths of kabuto, madara, and possibly sasuke in one whole arc. I think one might escape. And in addition to Madara getting the power of the sage of 6 paths, we have to first figure out what the remaining 3 are, and then we will have to see Madara actually get them in his possesion. All in all, i think Naruto might end in the arc after this, but i don't think this whole arc will showcase the end. Maybe im wrong but thats my guess
@narxhin4ever I kinda had an interesting idea since the tailed beasts Im assuming each have yin and yang chakra I think Naruto will get one of the two of each beast and madara the other half and they will then both face off with the yin and yang chakra of the ten tails.

Another fact is that kishimoto likes to introduce a power that can be obtained in the show (6 paths-madara) and how maybe the characters might stop it, but in the end the bad guys will obtain the power because he wants to showcase that power. A good example is Naruto Uzumaki chronicals 2, where they try to stop the master puppet from revival and...fuck word limit
also, i kind of disagree with this being the last arc. I agree it might be an arc or 2 away, but there is alot of things needed to be dealt with and i don't think they'll pack it all in the arc. Also, being a war, the battles are very fast paced, even deidara and sasori's match were only like 1' 1/2 chapters long. I don't see that kind of battle taking place with sasuke or madara. Also, its evident that naruto must fight madara and sasuke, which i don't think will happen in the same arc

lol ya this chapter is deep. About the series ending, it might and it might not. Kishi is a fan of DBZ and alot of times has copied DBZ's ideas. One of DBZ's main powers were to pull new villans out of their ass. It's like "i killed freeza" "goku! the next new most powerful being in the universe is on his way!" You know just stuff like that, i don't think that will happen actually, but it just might :P I have quite a bit to say so expect multiple reviews. Ill go over who fights who in next rev.
if you think about it.....how is Naruto going to become "ho-kage" now that all villages are one, they have united into a whole shinobi army, or is this just for the war? i wanna say after reading that chapter i was Worked up! I just hope when the episodes come out the make me feel the same way i did reading the chapter! I agree that naruto is coming to an end but not so soon. As for Jiraya the only reason he in not alive i think is because he had drowned in like a lake so it would be kind of hard to find his body. I think the war is in my point of view a way to distract people from the things like Naruto vs. Sasuke and the whole couples thing... It working! ^^
@SoccerluverCR7 You don't have to have the body of the person you're trying to revive, you just need to make a living sacrifice to put the soul in. Think of it like a chess piece, you sacrifice a pawn when it reaches the other side to bring back/summon a stronger piece.

Naruto will confront Madara's accumulated kyubi chakra. I'm assuming at some point in the story Naruto is going to become somewhat similar in strength to the Sage of the Six Paths, wich will enable him to combine the kyubi chakras in one.

dude you know, when the akatsuki members were first ressurected 4-5 months ago I had in my mind: what if in the middle of the war, naruto vs madara. what does he do? he summons 2 coffins...in which there are Minato and Kushina. That would be so bad ass....and if naruto finishes madara off, minato and kushina could actually be ressurected for real and so everyone else who participated on the war. This way, Naruto would bring peace to the world and happy ending. or maybe he'll fight jiraya.

What I think the battle line up will be. Itachi vs Naruto (Has to happen.) Naruto vs Kakazu (Kishi is so cruel to that character.) Bee and Naruto Vs the other Host. Tsusnade vs Dan. Kankuro and sai vs Sasori or Chyio or both A(the raikage) vs the Dead Raikage. Minufe(Samuri guy. and by that extent his squad Shino, Ino and kiba.) vs a kage the one covered up. Jiraiya is dead...the author confirmed it 2 years ago in an interview.
Orochimaru isn't dead, he is PERMANENTLY SEALED away by the Totsuka Sword of Itachi's Susano'o. It was a perfect way to end his role in the story, since he can't be resurrected by Edo Tensei because his soul is sealed.
@macrul3z I remember that fight with sasuke and itachi and when itachi sealed orochimaru...a little small white snake slithered under a rock and went away to whereever and I was thinking Orochimaru may just evolve fro that snake..because Orochimaru can seemingly reform from any size snake so with a snake that small he may be in some real nice hidden area reforming himself slowly
Kabuto will be the main villain not madara. Once madara absorbs the demons kabuto will body switch. Also the venom he put in yamato will give him control of the zetsus.
Kabuto reviving jiraya>Pain reviving jiraya. If pain revived jiraya, he would just drown again. If Kabuto revived jiraya, it would be impossible for him to drown again. (He would be an immortal zombie afterall)
I highly doubt he can revive the sealed ones.... If he were able to then I would think Kishi would've shown those and NOT shown shitty people like Chiyo and Asuma.
sorry for the long posts but Jaraiya is a real bad ass, he can be more dangerous than orachimaru who was really overated when we were watching the normal naruto anime ages ago. anyway, there isnt many people who could mess with jaraiya. itachi and kisame avoided, Pain admited that if jairaya knew of his secret 5 extra bodies, Jaraiya would of won, only the other kages and naruto and maybe a few extra could fight him. but maybe im praising him too much.
I also believe that Kabuto has more dead body up his ass, because its possible for him to bring back jaraiya and the 3rd. and their was that one person that kabuto summoned to shock madara if you guys remember. Also I believe that naruto is capable of more than just his kyuubi chakra because remember that itachi gave him a new power, jaraiya always told naruto not to use this particular jitsu, also i cant wait to see naruto fusing the kyuubi chakra with sage mode, since we saw that its capable.
Kabuto is a weasel, but he is smart, i believe shikamaru should kill him since kabuto is messing with Asuma's dead body, I can tell shikamaru will see Asuma and he is going to be pissed. i know that gaara is going to kill deidera, i have a feeling that some sort of revenge thing will play out here, and I liked how they bring back Haku and Zabuza, because i always said that if haku had more training, he would be a good akatsuki member, remembering that sasuke and naruto went toe to toe with him.
And the worst part is, Sasuke still thinks that Madara had nothing to do with the attack of the Nine-Tailed Fox! He has no idea at all that the man he's being manipulated by is the same man who started the events that would lead to the Uchiha Clan Massacre!

I am so pissed about the Fourth Shinobi War! I know that someone is going to be killed. Why did Gaara have to be the general of the forces?! And why are Shikamaru, Kakashi, Shizune, Kankuro, Ao, Inoichi right in the line of fire? They are by far my favorite characters. Especially Ao and Kakashi!

The name of the manga is Naruto, therefore he is the main main character. Sasuke has always been a villan since the start of Shippuden. He didn't die in all of those battles because he is Naruto's rival, and the story won't let him die until or after he fights Naruto.

The reason people hate Sasuke is because of how emotional he gets. He found out about the power of the curse mark and ditched his best friend to be with Orochimaru. He went super emo after finding out the truth about Itachi. He chose to turn to the darkness and go after Konoha even though he knew Itachi loved Konoha. Then he gets pissed off at Naruto even more and gets Eternal Mangekyou...

Second of all, I don't think you fully understand why Itachi committed the massacre. He was a PACIFIST that wanted to prevent the 4th World War. He loved Konoha and his family. And the elders (Danzo) manipulated him into thinking that the massacre was the best way to prevent it.
So your example doesn't make sense because Itachi didn't do it JUST because he loved Konoha. He did it because he knew it would prevent war, which he hated so much.

It was more of choosing to live a happy life knowing that the man who killed his entire family was still out there, or going out and killing that man then living with some peace of mind. We have to remember that in Japan (and most of Asia) they value honoring your ancestors and family. Getting revenge apparently was Sasuke's way of honoring his ancestors
When Itachi told Sasuke that Naruto was more important than him, it enraged him and he started growing hatred for Naruto. When he saw that Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than his Chidori at the top of the hospital, he grew jealous and wanted power in at any cost. He wanted power in order for Itachi to acknowledge him as someone worth fighting.
Sasuke wasn't going to 'happily live on' if he stayed in Konoha. He just left because he wanted more power and didn't care who it was from

@macrul3z I believe Sasuke was going to live with contentness in Konoha. Though he still had his eye on taking down Itachi, the issue is not really brought up- it's almost unimportant. Your eyes are totally like Sasukes'!!! =P Anyway, the way I interpreted the whole idea of having Choji with the long range, and Lee/Guy with the close/mid range is in the event the other characters need someone to cover them. Guy and Lee are close range, if Sakura is healing someone or Kakashi needs to rest then Lee/Guy can cover them while they do so since it can take time. Same idea with Choji in long range. Correction. NARUTO is the main character of the NARUTO manga. Sasuke wasn't even a planned character until Shueisha told Kishi to make him.

I think reviving Jiraiya wouldn't work because Jiraiya relays heavily in his summons. Not to say he doesn't have pretty badass jutsu of his own but we all know that he needs his toads to fight. Now, if he were to be revived, he could summon all of the toads he wanted, but they wouldn't be controled by Kabuto, so they would turn against him and he would be quickly defeated. He is awesome, but the three major toads, plus the shinobi against him would pwn him!

I don`t think this will be the last arc (or maybe I just hope it won`t) Even if we find out the remaining 3 paths,Kabuto and Madara die, Sasuke comes back/dies, and the war ends, I can`t see Kishi ending with out at least a wrap up arc (like an epilog)
Also, Naruto said he would die with Sasuke, Sakura saw Chio use the reanimation jutsu twice, and I don`t think she`d be able to bear losing both of them.

@MnMaggii I actually think what will happen is the war will pretty much be finished with Kabuto and Madara and Sasuke forced to fight on the front lines. I believe Madara will take the time to train Sasuke how to use his new eternal mangekyo. Sasuke will fight Naruto after that other ninja will tag team Kabuto kill him and after a fight and realizing he's still weak madara will flee to absorb the tailed beasts chakra.

yes, its a huge war but i don't think they'll be able to put the deaths of kabuto, madara, and possibly sasuke in one whole arc. I think one might escape. And in addition to Madara getting the power of the sage of 6 paths, we have to first figure out what the remaining 3 are, and then we will have to see Madara actually get them in his possesion. All in all, i think Naruto might end in the arc after this, but i don't think this whole arc will showcase the end. Maybe im wrong but thats my guess

gah word limit! Anyway, we also don't know Kabuto's true goal, and he also has to be dealt with. Another fact is that kishimoto likes to introduce a power that can be obtained in the show (6 paths-madara) and how maybe the characters might stop it, but in the end the bad guys will obtain the power because he wants to showcase that power. A good example is Naruto Uzumaki chronicals 2, where they try to stop the master puppet from revival and...fuck word limit

also, i kind of disagree with this being the last arc. I agree it might be an arc or 2 away, but there is alot of things needed to be dealt with and i don't think they'll pack it all in the arc. Also, being a war, the battles are very fast paced, even deidara and sasori's match were only like 1' 1/2 chapters long. I don't see that kind of battle taking place with sasuke or madara. Also, its evident that naruto must fight madara and sasuke, which i don't think will happen in the same arc

lol ya this chapter is deep. About the series ending, it might and it might not. Kishi is a fan of DBZ and alot of times has copied DBZ's ideas. One of DBZ's main powers were to pull new villans out of their ass. It's like "i killed freeza" "goku! the next new most powerful being in the universe is on his way!" You know just stuff like that, i don't think that will happen actually, but it just might :P I have quite a bit to say so expect multiple reviews. Ill go over who fights who in next rev.

i wanna say after reading that chapter i was Worked up! I just hope when the episodes come out the make me feel the same way i did reading the chapter! I agree that naruto is coming to an end but not so soon. As for Jiraya the only reason he in not alive i think is because he had drowned in like a lake so it would be kind of hard to find his body. I think the war is in my point of view a way to distract people from the things like Naruto vs. Sasuke and the whole couples thing... It working! ^^

dude you know, when the akatsuki members were first ressurected 4-5 months ago I had in my mind: what if in the middle of the war, naruto vs madara. what does he do? he summons 2 coffins...in which there are Minato and Kushina. That would be so bad ass....and if naruto finishes madara off, minato and kushina could actually be ressurected for real and so everyone else who participated on the war. This way, Naruto would bring peace to the world and happy ending. or maybe he'll fight jiraya.

Jiraiya is dead...the author confirmed it 2 years ago in an interview.
Orochimaru isn't dead, he is PERMANENTLY SEALED away by the Totsuka Sword of Itachi's Susano'o. It was a perfect way to end his role in the story, since he can't be resurrected by Edo Tensei because his soul is sealed.

I also believe that Kabuto has more dead body up his ass, because its possible for him to bring back jaraiya and the 3rd. and their was that one person that kabuto summoned to shock madara if you guys remember. Kabuto is a weasel, but he is smart, i believe shikamaru should kill him since kabuto is messing with Asuma's dead body, I can tell shikamaru will see Asuma and he is going to be pissed. i know that gaara is going to kill deidera, i have a feeling that some sort of revenge thing will play out here, and I liked how they bring back Haku and Zabuza, because i always said that if haku had more training, he would be a good akatsuki member, remembering that sasuke and naruto went toe to toe with him.

I am so pissed about the Fourth Shinobi War! I know that someone is going to be killed. Why did Gaara have to be the general of the forces?! And why are Shikamaru, Kakashi, Shizune, Kankuro, Ao, Inoichi right in the line of fire? They are by far my favorite characters. Especially Ao and Kakashi!
AND stupid Kabuto used that resurrection jutsu thing to bring back Yugito, Utakata, Asuma, and Dan. So now they’re being used as puppets for the bad guys. What the hell?! That is unfair.

My friends and i have already said oh ya Jiraya will be revived and he's going to show up and Naruto will have to deal with facing his mentor. Seeing how some kages have been brought back, I think that Naruto's dad would also show up in the future.

The name of the manga is Naruto, therefore he is the main main character. Sasuke has always been a villan since the start of Shippuden. He didn't die in all of those battles because he is Naruto's rival, and the story won't let him die until or after he fights Naruto.

Sasuke has trained too and at least his Sharingan is apart of him where as the Fox is not Narutos power...without it he would only have sage mode. and he wouldnt be all that...So Sasuke owns Naruto all day no matter what the outcome of this battle

The reason people hate Sasuke is because of how emotional he gets. He found out about the power of the curse mark and ditched his best friend to be with Orochimaru. He went super emo after finding out the truth about Itachi. He chose to turn to the darkness and go after Konoha even though he knew Itachi loved Konoha. Then he gets pissed off at Naruto even more and gets Eternal Mangekyou...

Umm..first of all I'm Canadian.
Second of all, I don't think you fully understand why Itachi committed the massacre. He was a PACIFIST that wanted to prevent the 4th World War. He loved Konoha and his family. And the elders (Danzo) manipulated him into thinking that the massacre was the best way to prevent it.
So your example doesn't make sense because Itachi didn't do it JUST because he loved Konoha. He did it because he knew it would prevent war, which he hated so much.

@macrul3z I don't think it was necessarily leaving his best friend for power. It was more of choosing to live a happy life knowing that the man who killed his entire family was still out there, or going out and killing that man then living with some peace of mind. We have to remember that in Japan (and most of Asia) they value honoring your ancestors and family. Getting revenge apparently was Sasuke's way of honoring his ancestors

When Itachi told Sasuke that Naruto was more important than him, it enraged him and he started growing hatred for Naruto. When he saw that Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than his Chidori at the top of the hospital, he grew jealous and wanted power in at any cost. He wanted power in order for Itachi to acknowledge him as someone worth fighting.
Sasuke wasn't going to 'happily live on' if he stayed in Konoha. He just left because he wanted more power and didn't care who it was from

@macrul3z I believe Sasuke was going to live with contentness in Konoha. Though he still had his eye on taking down Itachi, the issue is not really brought up- it's almost unimportant. Sasuke focuses more on protecting his teammates, and even goes as far as saying he doesn't want anymore of the ones he cares about [his friends] to get hurt. This implies that he was content with how he was living at the time- until Itachi came and gave Sasuke a wake-up call as to what his original goal was.

HAHAH! Your eyes are totally like Sasukes'!!! =P Anyway, the way I interpreted the whole idea of having Choji with the long range, and Lee/Guy with the close/mid range is in the event the other characters need someone to cover them. Guy and Lee are close range, if Sakura is healing someone or Kakashi needs to rest then Lee/Guy can cover them while they do so since it can take time. Same idea with Choji in long range. Anyway, just the inferences I picked up from it. Awesome review as always! ^_^

My hope is that Jiraiya is still alive or if summoned used for the benefit of the shinobi alliance once Kabuto shows his true colors to Madara which is obviously that of a white snake. Also it would have been great to see Konan take out Hanzou for Yahiko... lastly I think people keep forgetting that madara has the tailed beasts. the firepower they have is almost unfair at this point.... I just cant wait to see how loose are the tags Kabuto put in the zombies...If sasuke has eternal mangekyo....
