RIP Probert. I first saw Probert in Indianapolis before being called up by the Black Hawks. Man this guy was huge and he skated alone. No one messed with him. I knew then he would be something special in the NHL.

It was revealed he had some type of disease from head trauma. He was one of the greatest fighters of all time.  He knew his role and backed down from no one. RIP Bob Probert

Apparently and ironicly Marty Mcsorley is worried that he is getting the same condition. I read an interview a little while ago. Marty said that when he shaves in the morning he has a hard time seeing the right side of his face. He said that he'll walk into a room and have no idea what he is doing there.

This is the only fight ive ever seen bob "tap" the other guy after it was over. Bob was knocking the crap out of him early and towards the middle of the fight but marty had a full tank of gas that night and came back strong. One of the best fights ever.

I love how at about 58 seconds when McSorley's sweater was coming off, Probert cudda really nailed him and held up. (Don Cherry screaming, "a little honor there!") And then the head taps by the linesmen and the head tap by the combatants. Epic!
