it's funny that area used to be forest, it's all open now for the railfans. Personally, they should've fixed up the area you were in in the video since the photos are better there

how hard is it to get to where you took this video? is that on the old railroad track that you can get to by ATV?

@firefighter1811 Thats how we got in. We parked the car right near the tracks, but outta view. You probably can't drive in there anymore. But we where on a rock, on the side of the hill. Since this video was taken 22 years ago! Its a good bet, that its pretty well grown in. Thanks for watching...

@1jackdk Although I've never been to horseshoe curve, I've seen pictures on the internet that have been taken from this side of the tracks that were shot in 2010, so this spot or another one like it is still available.

@stlgevo51 this is spot is still around and the east overlook is the other spot that's outside of the park as well. it's not as easy to get to that spot now as it was a long time ago the brush really grows in during the summer and you can't drive up there anymore and the east overlook sucks when its not winter because all the brush will be grown in

You're correct about the Curve being fantastic to witness and should be on everyones bucket list. I just wish they'd cut back some of the trees and bushes. Excellent video.
