You just need to kill the amount of zombies for the Zombie Genocider achievement and recieve an ending to unlock the Real Mega Buster. Then it will be available on the next game you start, including Overtime and Infinity Mode.

you have to save the game before you get in the copper. or the game will not record you kills.and that means no mega blaster

FUCKING SHITE! I got the 53,594 zombie kills and the achievement and since I couldn't possibly finish the story and there was nothing else left to do I didn't feel like leaving my xbox and controller on for 4 more hours waiting for the damned helicopter and I just assumed that the blaster would carry on in to a new game but it didn't! So do I have to do all of this again or what? Or do I just have to beat the story again? Someone help!

I have done this twice.

First time was on my first xbox 360 user ever.

Then I accidently forgot my password to xbox live and it somehow blocked me from signing in.

So, I made a new user and got the achievement again..

It was painfull, but sweet once it's done :)

Remember, you must get an ending to be able to get your items or it won't count at all.

dude.. mix the jouses.. gets you more space in inventory and you get more healt as well, and one more thing.. use the book that makes the skateboard go 3x longer. Instead of taking 2 skateboards take 1 and the book, that would be like 3 skateboards instead.

When you have the maintenance tunnel key you can go through some of the doors when underground. thse doors normally have stairs behind, which almost always lead to a toilet, so just go to one of those :D

LOL this achievement was really difficult.

I did it in like 3 hours real-life.

But i had 1 day left in the game so i waited and spoiled my time in Paradise Plaza and i forgot to take some OJ's and i got killed and that sucked.

I had to load the game back and i was back with 27.218 zombie's killed -_-

But man the Real Mega Buster was worth it.

I bet it's too late, but DO NOT EXIT AND START A NEW GAME IF YOU GOT THE ACHIEVEMENT IN THAT PLAYTHROUGH. I did that and the megabuter won't be there and you'll have to do it again.

btw jacklines1 you have to finish the game as in either nt do all the cases and wait at the helipad after all the kills and/or do all the cases if you still have time witch you probably won't, but you have to finish the game either way, so yeah that's how you do it.
