I agree Bobby should have been playing faster, but they also played in a lower key. Sounds better at the regular pitch on the album.

Is it me or does bobby schayer always seem to be lagging the beat... i mean i havent seen any video where he plays any of the old songs at the correct speed or the speed that was recorded on the album....

I've noticed that too. And another thing he does is just play quarter notes on the hi hat at the same time as the snare, ie atomic garden intro, as apposed to playing 8th notes like pete.

Another rather striking thing:

All of his drumfills are extremely predictable.

And mostly done on the snare.

peter finestone also had predictable fills as well. bobby's are different and ya mostly snare but peters were just 16th note fills
